This rug elevated our family room in a beautiful way! It is a true dark gray and ivory color. The thickness of the rug makes it feel luxurious on the feet. It also arrived sooner than expected. We received it in under a week. It was well packaged, and it rolled out beautifully. There are some folds that have not straightened out, but I have no doubt they will disappear as it wears.

Beautiful But 2 Things To Know About It

1. The trellis part of the design on this rug is a cut pile wool. The background color of the design is a looped wool. Unfortunately, if you have pets they will probably put snags in the looped part of the rug, which is what happened to me. Another reviewer said you can just trim off the snags but I haven't tried that yet. 2. It has a high/low aspect to it, with the trellis design being slightly higher than the background. This required me to shift a few pieces of furniture an inch or so in order to have all the legs of the furniture on the same level. Might not work so well in a dining room with chairs that get moved around a lot. If not for the 2 items above, I would give this rug 5 stars. I've had the rug for about a year. It is plush and feels great underfoot. I personally like the high/low aspect in my living room. It has worn well (other than a few snags) and sheds dirt well. Overall, its a nice rug for a great price. I give this rug 4 stars.

This rug was a real disappointment for me. I purchased this carpet for my granddaughter’s nursery. It sat unopened for a few months while the rest of the nursery came together. When we opened it and put it down, it was not attractive. It looked dirty and the color was more beige than the pink we were expecting. If we had not waited so long to open it, I would have sent it back.

Initially Very Happy, Slowly Becoming Disappointed

When I found this runner at a reasonable price, I was so excited to receive it in the mail! We automatically unrolled it and laid it down in our main hallway. Color appeared accurate compared to what I saw online. For the first week or two we were pretty happy with it. It does slide around but that's typical for any runner; a simple rug mat would help it stay in place. However, over the past two weeks we've noticed the corners of the runner have already started to appear frayed and ragged. As we've only had the runner for four weeks we're concerned about long term wear. With only two pairs of feet (and a well behaved dog) walking on the rug very few times a day, we certainly didn't think it would begin to show wear for many months!
