Really pretty rug. Good quality. It did shed in the beginning which is expected with wool rugs. Just required some early vacuuming.

My favourite rug

A show stopper in my front entrance. Deep blue and white. Great texture to the trellis pattern. Thick pile. Soft under foot.

This rug was not my original choice but when I saw it I kept going back and forth. Decision made and now I have this beautiful rug in my bedroom.. Love the colour, it makes the room looks bigger and adds a little bit of sophistication. I would most definitely recommend

At first I was happy with my purchase. It looks like the picture but after unwrapping, I noticed a very strong smell- like motor oil. After a couple of days the smell has not went away and now has my entire room smelling like oil. Will be returning, so only giving one star due to this.

Beautiful but sheds

The rug is beautiful, thick and warm. However, we have now had this rug for 4 years and it is STILL shedding. It never stopped shedding, we have fibers all over our hardwood floors. I understand that wool rugs can shed but this has been horrible I learned my lesson and will not buy a rug made out of this material again. It is also more of a blue/grey tone. It is not a true grey color.

I absolutely love this rug. The pattern is amazing. Very elegant. The wool does not shed either which is so nice. Didn't have any pulls or weird spots like other rugs I have purchased. It is also very thick. It looks and feels like a much more expensive throw rug.

The color of the rug is more of a dark mustard variation. We have only had it for a week and it already looks worn and dirty. This is mostly the result of the dye they use on the rug. The white portions aren't a true white but more of a cream color. I am really disappointed with this rug, and wouldn't recommend it to others.

Beautiful rug!! I have ordered several from Overstock of the Safavieh brand. I have not disappointed at all. They are high quality. Some shed more than others. I love Not having fringe so Roomba doesn't get stuck. Really classy looking. I would definitely buy it again

This rug is absolutely beautiful! It instantly made my living room feel warm and cozy! It's super thick which means durable! I have three children so i def thank god for the thickness of the rug, it is so soft! The rug is def true to color and is just gorgeous! Such a conversation piece!

This beautiful rug exceeded my expectations. Well crafted, thick and lush wool fibers with vibrant colors. There was nothing about the rug to dislike, my frustration laid with Fedex delivery damaging the packaging during delivery thus soiling heavily with dirt and grease marks. Overstock tried to satisfy but unfortunately, this was a bridal shower gift and redelivery was not possible before the party date.

Meh, pretty but sheds... A lot

I really liked the colors and pattern of this rug. The blue was sort of muted (I wouldn't call it "slate", but it's not Bright) which was what I was looking for. I've had it for about a year and it's held up pretty well (I have 3kids)... There are a few snags here and there, but I've been vacuuming it for a year. My only real complaint is that it sheds, even a year later it still sheds... Not as much as it did in the beginning (which was a LOT) but if my kids play on it the fibers stick to their clothes.... And this frustrating. Plus the floor looks "dusty" from the shedding if you aren't constantly cleaning.

If you have animals DO NOT GET THIS RUG!!!!

I am not sure if they laced this rug with something that attracted all my animals to it. lol...but two days later the rug is destroyed. I have 3 brand new rugs in my house, and even with cats not one of them has fallen apart as this one has and so quickly. I did pay a lot more for the others. Maybe this was just not as well made to withstand my animals. None the less it was a very expensive experiment, it will be hitting the trash soon. I almost wonder if it isn't defective.

Magic Carpet Ride

This is a beautiful rug! It is just as advertised, ivory design over a silver /grey background. Very soft, the ivory design is set above the background, adding a 3-D textural effect. Being wool, it does shed some, but not as much as other wool rugs I own. The wool is high quality and very, very soft. It is light in color, so I recommend no shoes on this rug in order to retain the color and cleanliness. And, it will need regular vacuuming. Shipping was fast, and delivery was without incident. I would recommend this rug!

Appealing design; not so soft as hoped

I purchased b/c another reviewer wrote that this Silver Moroccan had a lavender cast to it. As that's what I was looking for, I purchased it. Reviewer was correct. Definite lavender cast., ,,,,,, I find the design appealing, and while it's not as soft underfoot as I hoped for,I'm becoming accustomed to it. I don't have a pad underneath the rug, and although a pad wouldn't change texture of the carpet, it might, by giving it some cushion underneath, make it feel nicer. Not sure., ,,,,,,, I purchased the 8 x 8 square. The design is cut perfectly square., ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Noticeable odor of "damp" wool for about 2 weeks, but the carpet was not, in fact, damp at all and the odor is now mostly dissipated., ,,,,,,,,,, Like the 8 x 8 size, like the design, only wish this carpet was softer., ,,,,,,,,,,,

Looks good, probably not great for a family room

I got it for our dining room, and it's perfect. It looks great - the yellow is vibrant but not tacky. Looks like the picture. However, the texture is a little rough and when our cats claw it the weave makes threads pull out very easily. At least the pattern does a decent job of hiding that. Also, the white part is pretty raised from the gold background. This is why I think one probably wouldn't want to use it in a room where people will be sitting on the floor frequently. But purely style-wise, it was a home run.

Beige/Ivory wool rug

I got the 8x8 rug for my living room. The Ivory is slightly raised compared to the beige. The colors were as described. The beige is slightly darker than on my screen. But I was hoping for that. I love how soft it is and how thick it is. I do not need a rug pad (although it is suggested) or a mat to keep it in place. The quality appears to be great and the size seems to be accurate (I did not measure the actual rug because it fits where I had previously measured for). My ONE and ONLY complaint is how it sheds. I have never owned a wool rug (always bought cheap ones) and so I never realized that wool rugs shed that much. I don't think it would have been a big deal except that I have 3 children under age 4 and I also have a dark brown couch. So whenever they run around and then jump up on the couch there are wool fibers everywhere! I am constantly vacuuming. Probably more than if I had a pet. It gets a little ridiculous at times. I probably wouldn't notice it as much if I had a lighter or similar colored couch. But you will definitely notice it if you wear dark colors and sit on the floor. As much as I love this rug I probably won't buy a wool rug again.

Rug was exactly represented

Love this rug! Overstock is great in that it delivers in only a few days and gives you the exact date of delivery. The rug looks exactly like the photos, very bright and well crafted. It's the centerpiece of my living room where I have a brown leather couch and grey armless chairs (also bought from Overstock). The brightness works so well with the darker/neutral furniture. The softness of the rug is just right. It's not plush but soft to the touch.
