There is a chip in the top. The top looks black instead of brown or cherry. It is already put together and would be difficult to return. I will not order anything like this from kohl’s again.

Great End Table!! Very well built very sturdy!! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the finish!! Was really surprised by the quality because of the price this table is an incredible value!! The color is exactly what I expected it matches the TV stand and the new lamp I purchased looks terrific on the table. It was very simple to put together and I’m not particularly handy.
