I never experienced a 3 second-to-hot output, but my experience was quite a bit better than other reviewers, probably because I have the 18KW model instead of the base 3.5KW. It is also 240V vs 110V, so I would imagine we're playing on a whole different field all the way around. Installation is simple (I don't like touching 240V so I let an electrician install this). Will update as I gain more experience with it.

Had an issue with the water heater, called first they asked me to check out a couple of things I did. They checked with their engineer. A day later they texted me saying a new unit is being shipped, got it the same day. Installed it and is working fine. Speedy good communication that’s what I call great customer service.

While I can't speak for longevity yet, this water heater is very simple to install and saves a ton of space over using a tank. Make sure you have proper power supply in your house before buying. Breaker box may need to load balance if your are going from tank to tankless. Efficient from the standpoint that you only heat water when needed.

I don’t know much about plumbing - I’ve flooded bathrooms trying to fix them. But I do know that I’ve wanted one of these installed, so I had a professional plumber look at this before installation.

So far after 2 days of use, it's a great product. It was quick and easy to install, only 1 hr. And it seams well built, hardly any plastic parts.

I am glad I purchased this hot water on demand unit. It works extremely well and appears to be a higher quality machine than others on the market I have researched. I certainly would could purchase it again.

This “ETL Certified” tankless, on-demand, hot water heater was installed easily and functions perfectly. Currently I am running two kitchens, the laundry room and two half baths from this single water heater. While it is normal to feel a few seconds of fluctuation when an additional appliance goes on or off, we have no problem doing dishes while running the washing machine. It seems like any combination of hot water usage from the different areas of the house is small work for this machine. With the help of an electrician friend I wired my own because we are allowed to do that where I live, and I would absolutely recommend hiring a professional because I would not have known what I was doing without professional advice. The heater is working wonderful for my family, I 100% recommend.

Overall, this is a good quality tankless heater. If you are replacing a tankless, this install should be pretty simple. If you are replacing a tank, chances are you will have to upgrade your electrical as this requires three two pole 40 amp breakers. If you don't have a 200 amp main service, you probably don't need to put one of these in. This is very likely to require a subpanel also depending upon the rest of your home's electrical needs. When installing, you simply run wiring into it, hook up water lines, and its ready to go. Temp can be set to desired output from 80-140 degrees with 120 being about average. At 140 it is scalding hot so would not recommend going that high with it. Where I live, we do not get very cold ground water, so I haven't noticed any difference in winter. The further north you are, the less water flow you will get in colder weather with these kinds of tanks. Overall, this is a good quality tankless unit that works well.

This works well for the master bath. It heats water quickly, so I no longer run out of hot water when taking a shower. Hubby was able to install it himself, but he has plumbing and electrician experience.

We just bought a new house and wanted a tankless heater for the mast bath. This was very easy to install and creates instant hot water. Absolutely worth the money!

I was skeptical at first about trying a tankless hot water heater for our home. We did a little bit of research and realize that we could probably install this on our own, and we did! It really was pretty easy to do and since we have had it installed, it has been working perfectly!! The hot water literally does not run out at all and we have not noticed an increase in our utility usage. Absolutely recommend this!! it’s also pretty reasonably priced compared to the other ones we were considering.

WORKS LIKE A DREAM. NICE HOT SHOWERS INSTEAD OF HAVING THE WATER COLD AFTER A FEW MINUTES. INSTRUCTIONS WERE EASY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND. WE ONLY IN USE IN THE STANDUP SHOWER AND HAVENT HAD ANY ISSUES. EASY TO INSTALL.

This is a great tankless water heater. I got this for the mountain house. It gets really cold there and local infrastructure isn't the greatest. Also, the tanks of heated water sometimes get cold if not heated adequately or to heat adequately, you need to use a lot of energy to keep the tank cold in the winter. This is easy to set up and install. The digital display is helpful. The water heats up quickly. The house gets hot water noticably faster than before, especially when there's heavy usage, like when people visit and there's a bunch of people staying in the house. I don't know if this would be enough to heat water for a big household alone, but as a supplement to an existing tank, this helps a lot. This is straightforward to install as long as you have the existing electrical and plumbing. This works well and very much worth the price. If I could so easily install this in my condo, I'd do so too.

So my wife is on an energy efficient kick lately so she had me install this in our basement bathroom under the sink. It works great for what we need. We really dont use that bathroom often. So its OK. And it makes my wife happy. So it's a win win.

Just great to have instant hot water when needed. if one does not have huge water demand and simultaneously this is great as the water is heated as needed, saving much electricity because it doesn't need to be kept hot when not needed. So good. No more running out of hot water when the tank is empty. Works great. :)

I have a small house, so the tank water heater takes up a of room in that small space. This is a much better option (and very european!). It has been a good solution for me and my household of 1 with the occasional guest. Water heats as needed vs sitting hot in a tank waiting.

I originally bought this for a remote bathroom that does not have hot water fed off of the main hot water heater in the house. I have limited power options so a 2x40 was a lot more palatable than one of those huge 3x40 units. It's a shower, sink and also has a washing machine hooked to it but typically this tank is used for the washer and dryer (steam). The current "closet" in the bathroom is roughly 50% usable today due to the size of the tank so replacing that tank with this tankless unit was a HUGE space saver. It was a little bit of fun running the cabling as the old unit only had a single 30A breaker but the hot water on demand and space savings was absolutely worth it. That said it might be a little bit of overkill for what I am using it for so I think it would make for a great unit for a full bath.
