Nice dresser but a lot of work

Drawers do no line up exactly which is annoying and it definitely takes a lit longer than 90 min. To assemble, as some mentioned. More like 4hrs. I will say the directions are very good and communicated well.

Diffucult Assembly

First I will say I really like building furniture. I find it pretty easy and I’m able to get it done fairly quickly. Save yourself a huge headache and take the locking mechanism out for the drawers. What a nightmare to get the drawers aligned correctly. Truly. Secondly the back is a piece of cardboard and for the life of me and others we could not get it to line up properly. Finally the middle support had mis marked pre drilled holes and I had to take a lot of it apart and reassemble because the drawers wouldn’t go in correctly because it wasn’t evenly spaced. I was putting this dresser together in 90 degree heat initially and probably should have stoped because it was chaos. The second dresser was easier to put together because I had battled through the first. The finished product on this dresser for the price is sturdy. Nice quality.

Solid piece

Was first overwhelmed by the amount of pieces but pieces were nicely packed all in good condition . Followed the directions page by page. Sometimes questioned why are they doing this next but All went together nicely. It took about 2 hours- I do enjoy tools and projects so time was not a problem. The finish is nice and do like the drawer design with side roller rail placement. The handles or pulls are very nice. Size good. I am overall pleased with purchase. Would buy again. You do need a couple tools

Structure

The structure of the whole thing is terrible didn’t even hold up a whole year. There wasn’t anything heavy in the drawers I built it where it was going to go so I didnt move it a lot. It had a manufacturing problem because the pieces were a bit difficult to level. But other than that material was cheap as well

After putting this dresser together, we could not figure out why the whole thing shifted side to side when touching it. Myself, my fiancé and my FIL retraced every step and made sure every single screw was tightened and it STILL wobbled an uncomfortable amount. We decided to look over that since it comes with a wall anchoring kit, BUT after placing baby items such as a box of diapers, a box of wipes and a changing pad the entire middle caved in (see image).

Waist of money and time (including target return service)

Would give less than one star if I could! The drawer came with the groove on the wrong side. But I just discovered that almost at the end of the process. I tried to do return but they ask to bring the product, which I was unable to do with the thing almost entire assembled. Poor construction and poor service from target. Very disappointed. I will never more buy any furniture from target.

Beautiful dresser

5 stars because end product is beautiful, very heavy & high quality. All the reviews about drawers not lining up, the last page of the instructions tells you how to fix that. The con is you are putting together every single piece. I’ve never bought a dresser that I had to install the tracks. Also the reason for why people are having issues with the drawers lining up, this should really be done by the manufacturer. I spaced out assembly over three days so it really didn’t seem as bad. I also used a drill (very carefully) because I can’t imagine doing it all with screw driver.

Glad i took a chance on this dresser

I read lots of the reviews and initially was kinda hesitant to buy it. Others said the smell was terrible, difficult to put together, drawers don’t line up.

Nearly Perfect for the Price

Just finished assembling this dresser the other day. It took a little help from my girlfriend but I don’t think it’s that much harder to do on your own. This one is kind of laborious though. Probably took me 4 hours. The directions are thorough so no complaints there! For the price, it’s really hard to beat this dresser. I also like the weighted feel of the drawers as they slide out. Doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. Would recommend to anyone like me looking for a good dresser but you have a budget

I am very happy with this 6-drawer dresser. It is exactly what I was looking for. The shipping was extremely fast, less than a week it arrived in perfect condition. It took around 2 and a half hours to build. I was building it by myself, but then needed assistance for some parts. The instructions were pretty straight forward and easy to follow. The only negative comment I would say is, I did have to mess around with the drawers to make sure they all close right, so I had to move them around and see which drawer went where. I got them all to close all the way and they all fit perfectly now. It’s a beautiful piece and especially the side detail. Would do it all over again!
