Love this Rug!

I purchased the navy 9x12 and it was perfect. We have bright white couches and navy blue accent chairs and this rug had the perfect amount of pattern and color to pull the entire room together. We have had 4 rugs in this room in the past three years and I finally found a keeper. So far it is plush enough that I don't feel like we need an expensive pad under it and I am hopeful that it wears well since it is lower pile. It did shed for the first few days but really only noticeable on our very dark hardwoods or if our little kids crawled on it. Thankfully the shedding has slowed down now. We couldn't love this rug more!

Adds Color and Personality to the Room

This rug was a great value. I have a different tufted wool rug from Safavieh that has held up pretty well over the years. This one is somewhat softer. I prefer the look of the hooked wool to the polypropylene even though they are not particularly soft to the touch. The lighter blue is variable and pretty bright, as pictured! My cats do pull up a few snags here and there, and it sheds during vacuuming as wool will do. I shipped two rugs to my local store and Home Depot was great about helping maneuver them around. I kept this one but returned the other rug because I did not like the colors and they were great about handling the return.

I have bought Safavieh wool rugs for over 10 years; usually great value for the $$, since I change up rugs in our family room every 3 to 4 years. Unfortunately, the Capri (bought 2 rugs 9x12) showed terrible wear in a very short period of time. I sent pics to Overstock; response was 10% off next purchase. I also contacted Safavieh with no success. So, $***+ later, I am in search of quality rugs, but not thru Overstock and not Safavieh

Not the best value...

For the price, I was expecting to get a smooth, low pile, comfortable rug. This rug is very scratchy and thick. I've even had guests trip over it. When I play on the floor with my daughter, I need to put a blanket down first if we're wearing shorts cause it's so scratchy against my legs. You don't notice it when walking barefoot on it, but for me its uncomfortable to sit on. So overall I'm disappointed in this rug and will be moving it to another room in our house that is used less frequently. I would get rid of it, but feel obligated to keep it because of how much I paid for it. I will never buy a rug sight unseen ever again. Huge regret! Also- I have not been able to find a carpet cleaner that doesn't remove the color, so it's been difficult to clean (not ideal with kids).
