Product was definitely not easy to assemble…even the manufacturer had a sense of humor and added fun comments in the directions. Overall great product!

It's a good product as far as particle board things...

It's a good product as far as particle board things go, I miss the days of real wood but that would not be affordable.

Looks great but drawers are cheap.

Great size and looks nice .... Was a real effort to put together and took a while, expensive considering not real wood but needed something quickly and didn't have time to build one at the moment. When drawers finally break we will try to reuse plastic inside rails to build a new one.

Fantastic file cabinet. It was a blast to put together with every set of nuts/bolts/screws all separated in separate sealed plastic bags. Very easy to put together. I cheated a tad and used my cordless with the clutch turned down which sped things up. I highly recommend this item and of great quality.

Compliments the desk

I have the "L" shaped desk from this brand and was looking for something that would coordinate in my office area. The build and look are great. The one issue I had was I was actually missing a few of the hardware parts. In the directions it shows that I could have called the manufacture to get the parts, but my desk had some spares and matched what was needed to complete the setup.

Buyer beware

This item was not right! The holes were too big for the screws. I couldn’t even put it together. So heavy and such a pain to return.

Best instructions ever

First of all, this product had the best instructions to follow of any product I have ever put together. They were clear in the pictures, I didn’t have to do any guessing and I didn’t end up with extra parts. I’m really impressed with the quality of this product. We haven’t filled it yet but it seems very sturdy. I had one broken part for the hanging files and it was easy to request a replacement. The project took right around 3 hours to complete with a few interruptions included. The drawers stuck a little bit after working them a couple of times they seemed to get better. So far VERY happy!

Flimsy piece of crap

DO NOT order this flimsy piece of crap ("PoC") unless you have three people to put it together. Or, unless you put it together DIFFERENTLY than the instructions. Doing EXACTLY AS WAS SHOWN IN INSTRUCTIONS, the "extreme weight of the pressboard" (facetious) broke each of the sides off of the back. As one constructs, one MUST have TWO ADDITIONAL HELPERS with the assigned job of holding each side perfectly straight until the entire unit is completed. More than a (estimated) 10-15 degree slipup by either of these two people, and the flimsy pressboard will tear out of the fittings that are used to put this PoC together. After un-sanctimoniously burial in my 90-gal garbage cart outside, I went called _______ _______ and order a FOUR DRAWER filing cabinet which was delivered whole the next day. My advice is to NOT try to save a few bucks with a PoS from HomeSquare. I mean, PoC.
