This was easy to assemble and we love the way they look in our new kitchen. We needed something sturdy for 300+lbs and this does the trick plus looks great. Our little kids are able to easily climb up it and they are comfortable for our family.

I can't remember the last time I was so disappointed with a purchase. I bought two of these counter stools, both of which were defective. After a very frustrating period of assembly (or lack of), I had to package them back up. Now I'll have to drive them 35 minutes to my nearest Home Depot. I was able to assemble the first stool, but upon completing it, I stood it right-side-up, only to find a dent in one of the cross bars. My husband, who works in a field that includes coatings, said that it was obviously dented prior to its powder coating. There was also a small flaw in the finish of the seat. The dent wasn't large, and the flaw was small, so we decided to just deal with it. So I moved on to assembling the second stool, and that's where my real frustration began. The metal frame that came attached to the underside of the seat was not put on properly, so I wasn't able to slide the sides into the openings. The openings on one side were spread too far apart by about 2mm. There was absolutely no way this could be assembled. Again, I had to package everything back up and try to fit it all in the jigsaw puzzle of a box. Where's the quality assurance with this company? I could understand getting one defective product, but two of two!

The stools were bought to go with the Aileen table after purchasing a different set of stools- they were sent back and matching stools were bought. The 24" Aileen stools are perfect! Comfortable, and the perfect height-

Great, Stylish Stools!

This stool is very sturdy! The solid wood seat is gorgeous and heavy. The wood seat truly balances the clean, metal design of the stool. The stool was very easy and quick to assemble. If you are placing the stool on wood floors I would suggest adding thick felt pads to the 'feet' to prevent scratching the floor.

Nice Quality

These seem like high quality stools for the price. They have to be assembled, attach two leg frames and two support bars. It took me and my 11 year old son less than and hour to do three. These are fairly heavy and my 4 year old has trouble moving them where he wants them, and they only have tough plastic caps on the bottom. I am returning them, but if we were going to keep them I would put those felt pads on to protect our wood floors. I have to say the wood looks really really nice, but seems a touch lighter than in the picture. The only reason I am returning them is that they are too large for our space. We just bought this house and the last owners used three of the popular metal stools, which fit the space perfectly, so I thought these three would be fine. Since they do not tapper to the seat my three kids had trouble getting in and out. So I should have measured. Target took them back no problem, even assembled and with no packaging, which is one of the reasons I LOVE Target. Thank you!

Very sturdy stools

Purchased 2 stools. 1 was so easy to assemble, the other took much more time due to a slightly crooked screwed on seat, which made it difficult to align. Orherwise anyone can put these together! Very sturdy, wide comfortable seat. Looks great too!
