The paint job sucks

Overall the size is fine not a big hassle putting together. Did need a second pair of hands. But the paint, god forbid your arms lay on the desk because your arms will take the paint on your body! If you wipe it with anything the paint will go on that clothes or paper towel it will fade. I would not repurchase. Most of where the keyboard goes is all faded I’m assuming from just placing my arm there.

A really nice desk. The setup is simple but you really do need 2 people to do it & 1 person should be strong & really know what they are doing (a family member who is a contractor helped me). I love the desk. It looks great & has plenty of surface space plus 3 drawers.

Don't waste your money

I received the item and the package was in great condition as was the internal wrapping. However, there were several significant issues when assembling this product. There is a sizable sticker on the top to indicate where the magnet will engage the lock (this was not shown in the product info or pics). Unless you want an unattractive large plastic sticker that reads "solid wood" across the top of your desk, you will likely want to remove this sticker as I did. Doing so left behind a horribly sticky mess and trying to clean it off will only remove the finish (mine was black so this would be very noticeable). Where the locking bolt is located above the drawer did not seem to be properly installed as there was a hardened glue like substance all around it. You wouldn't see this in use and it wouldn't affect the functionality but it is a clear indication of subpar quality, especially for the price. I also discovered a screw sticking out about a half inch into the back of the right front drawer from the top, such that if you were to reach your hand to the back of the drawer, you would very likely be injured by the protruding pointed end of a wood screw. Finally, if all that wasn't enough, when moving the desk into place, the entire top piece disconnected from the shelving brackets (this part came pre-assembled). I followed the assembly instructions meticulously and there was no warning or indication about proper movement once assembled. I considered that this was a random defect but given everything together, I concluded this product is simply poor quality and poor craftsmanship. I gave a second star solely for the customer service response and because the price I ended up paying was mostly fair for the product I received.

Very cool desk. I'm happy with my purchase. The desk is very nice looking. I wish the drawers were of better quality, since there are no side guide rails but they do function pretty good. The concealed drawer with magnetic lock works very well and is unnoticeable. The only other thing that a buyer should know is that although the desk is solid wood, the desk top is soft enough to allow the imprint from a pen to transfer thru the paper onto the desk so be sure to have a couple extra papers under the one you are writing on. Overall the desk is certainly worth the asking price due to the 2 concealed drawers which is very nice to have.

The 2 main drawers are painted, but don't look at all like the rest of the desk and are very rough. The concealed drawer on the side is tough to open, but a nice feature. There was also a scratch in the top that was painted over. The desk did come packaged very well to prevent any damage in shipping. Definitely would not recommend this product...
