Nice plate, worthless screws

While this brand of antique copper rocker plates are very attractive, consider purchasing other screws to match. The screws in the package are the tiniest things with a very shallow screwdriver slit and a very short shank. Regardless of using a magnetic tip, I dropped the screws 3 times and finally gave up. Boo.

Very stylish, excellent finish. We purchased 13 of these and all in emasculate shape. A 3gang version is also available but carries the Decora name rather than Hampton. Confusing, but seems to be the identical product.

Screws are short!

I love the switch plates . Only problem was that the screws were too short. I had to buy longer ones and it was hard to find the correct color.

This switch plate looks so much better than the brown that was installed originally. Even though it is plastic, it looks metallic and matches my oil rubbed bronze fixtures perfectly.

I seriously thought it was impossible to complain about a wall plate. I hope Hampton Bay is making millions from reduced material cost by giving screws that are less than half the length of a normal wall plate screw. Seriously stupid. Won’t buy again. The wife will have to look for another brand.
