Year & Day tableware is versatile. There is nothing flashy about this dinnerware it is simple and to the point and but the colors dress it up nicely. If you're looking for a pleasant everyday dinnerware this is it!

All of my Year &

All of my Year & Day products are wonderful. The colors are gorgeous, the dishes have a soft and smooth hand feel, and they present my food so beautifully. The customer service from Year & Day is also top class. I had a chip on one of the plates (I've ordered many many boxes over a few years and had only ONE plate chip). After I wrote to customer service and shared a photo they immediately responded and replaced my order quickly. I was thrilled. I will keep coming back to Year & Day as my kitchen grows.

The color, weight, and shape

The color, weight, and shape of these plates are great. However, after only 2 months of use, several plates are showing unsightly scratch marks. It's unfortunate. This fact combines with the problematic bowl shape (as separately reviewed) mean we'll probably donate the whole set to Goodwill and start over with something else.

Pulled a broken plate out

Pulled a broken plate out of dishwasher after less than two months of use. Seemed like good quality at first but this is the only plate my dishwasher has ever broken.

Ordered more for back up! We love our Y&D large plates. Mixing them with other colors offered makes it fun and elegant to entertain. They wash up beautifully, serve perfectly and are made to last. We love our new moon dinner plates and supporting pieces. The quality is excellent and the dishes are durable while also being really aesthetically pleasing. We will continue to expand our set and build out our dinnerware using Year & Day.

Big plates but not too big. Meals don t look puny and they easily fit in the dishwasher. Probably good for portion control too:-)

I ordered four Midnight dinner

I ordered four Midnight dinner plates hoping to match matte dark navy plates I bought several years ago. They are indeed very similar.
