Do not commend

Giving this 2 stars because while the quality is nice, it does not fit the Iron Handle Skillet (I have the 26cm). You have to either put it on before you cook or use a rag to hold one handle while you force this sleeve on. Not practical.

Useless

Gets super hot on the le creuset cast iron crepe pan to the point where I can’t use it. Will be looking for an alternate pan holder from somewhere else. Disappointing.

Good handle material but slips off

Good sleeve material, stays fairly cold while pan is ripping hot but absolutely does not stay on so to me it’s not worth it, better off holding with a towel.

This is so not the time to buy a generic copycat

So, the first time I bought a silicone handle sleeve, I cheaped out and got a generic brand at the local retail kitchen boutique store. It actually melted onto my pan. The Le Creuset works perfectly with my Marseille pots, but the color is off a bit. However, I didn't let it stop me and ended up purchasing the silicone pot pads and trivets, too. It's well worth a few extra bucks not to ruin a pot or burn my skin. What can I say? I'm a delicate flower who likes to cook.

Perfect protection

Cast iron gets extremely hot. I can now cook without burning my hand. The black color looks nice with my pink pan.

Dangerous to use.

Dangerous to use. Too large to fit well on any skillet handle. Rolls in your hand. One of the most useless products I have ever purchased.

We love our bistro set. It is perfect. Excellent quality and matches the rest of our outdoor furniture. It will fit perfectly on our lower deck when the weather turns so we can still enjoy the beautiful fall/winter evenings with a lovely dinner. We are beyond thrilled with our purchase.

Nice thicker silicone and shaped to fit the handle nicely of my 10” cast iron pan. Very pleased with this. No more padded ones being set afire because they’re accidentally moved too close to the gas burner!

Not so cool handle

I used the cool tool on my Le Creuset blueberry skillet... and it heat protection was not the greatest and was a bit dissapointed... especially since i'm a big fan of all Le Creuset products. But this one did not hit the spot quite right.

The number of times I've told myself I'll remember that the handles on my Le Creuset pans are hot and then forgotten and burned myself is too many to count! I have put these sleeves on all my Le Creuset pans since getting them and they've already saved me some pain! They fit really snuggly to the handles, so there is no chance of them slipping and you losing all your hard work on the floor (which has happened with other brands). A sound investment in my opinion!

Indispensable tool when using the stove top grill safely

As grilling demands a very hot surface, using this sleeve made cooking on the stove top with the grill much safer and easier. The key is to slide the sleeve in the handle prior to heating the grill and then only remove it once it cooled down. As it is designed to stay in place it takes some pushing and pulling to put it on and remove it

Ideal solution

This little tool is the ideal solution to a familiar problem. I love my cast iron skillet but hate that the handle gets so hot. Just slip the cover on the handle when ready to grab the skillet and no more burned hands!

Overpriced.

This item is overpriced, considering its limitations. I wish the hosts presenting this would have said that it CANNOT go into the oven. So how is it useful in removing the hot vessel from the oven???? It can only be used when handling a cooking vessel that is on the stovetop. Considering returning this item for that reason. Once again, incomplete information given by the TV hosts. Not pleased.

THIS IS A MUST FOR LC HANDLES!

If you have LC pans with a handle, this little thing is extremely useful. I know, you could use a potholder, right? But potholders slip and this "cool tool" doesn't! It slides onto the handle and stays there, protecting your hand and no chance of dropping your hot pan! I also have the set of Pot Grips, which are also very useful. All parts of the pan gets hot, so these two items will be very helpful cooking with the wonderful LeCreuset! Highly recommend!

Life saver in the kitchen. Handles 250 degrees!

This little mit is absolutely wonderful on handling all your pots and frypan handles. I use it when taking pots or pans out of the house en. Can safely handle 250 degrees! It’s a life saver in the kitchen!

I wanted this hand holder for my cast iron fry pans. The product is thick and might work if the handle tool was less thick. I can’t get the hand holder to go more than one-quarter down my cast iron pans’ handles. Maybe if I had the Le Creuset fry pans, it would be a useful tool. For my use, the handle tool just doesn’t work.

[Rewarded Review] Just what I needed!

I absolutely love, love, love my Le Creuset 10 inch frying pan! Except ... the handle gets hot when anything cooks in it for very long. I long ago adapted to using it without problems, but my parents recently moved in with me and they forget every time they use it to be careful with the handle. I was just waiting for the day one of them would forget and burn themselves or drop the pan and break the cooktop or scorch the floor. Now I don't have to worry about that. I just have to worry that it gets left on the handle or gets put back on the handle after the pan gets washed!
