Very sturdy and great looking piece!

I really like this piece. Thought i had ordered the complete set, but had to go back and order the desk when i check status and saw it was just the hutch.

I have bought from Sauder many times and like their products. It's not high end but if you take good care of them, they last a long time! I only had one issue with my last order and a part came with a flaw. . . a small hole in one part. . . but I just fixed it myself instead of having to send it back and wait for a replacement. Other than that I am very happy with my furniture!

incorrect information

Description says hutch and desk and I even asked customer service and they confirmed it was both! Very upset !

It does not look like the picture

In this online picture, they seem to have airbrushed out all the stark white twist locks that are clearly visible all over this hutch, 15 of them to be exact, and the exposed black screws, 6 of those. It's basically ruined the desk and cheapened the entire look of it. They give you color matched cam covers but stark white exposed twist locks, that's makes no sense whatsoever. Make the extra effort and color match the plastic on these twist locks. The pieces also don't fit together properly, the middle vertical boards don't touch the desk, there is a 1/8 space under them. It's not an assembly issue, I've assembled tons of this furniture and I assure you it was done properly. Unfortunately it's impossible to repack and return these items, not to mention the holes that were drilled in the desk to accommodate this ugly thing.

Looks beautiful but to attach to the desk you have to drill holes. Not a fan of drilling holes in a new piece of furniture.

A Nice Desk Organizer that Adds Plenty of Storage Space

It is not terribly often that I can rave about a pre fab product but this is one of those times. The Sauder Desk Hutch Cottage is a really nice product and worth every penny of the purchase price. Right out of the box I was instantly pleased with the color and how it matched my desk. This was most impressive since most of the time when I've tried matching items with a snapshot the colors always seemed a bit off. The unit when fully assembled is a sturdy and moderately heavy piece yet it can be easily moved around with very little effort. Assembly was a breeze with the pre-drilled holes and the hardware fit on point. It secured tightly together and the finished product was beautiful. There was much more storage space than I imagined. I am highly pleased with my purchased and would recommend this item to anyone needing a desk hutch.

Great buy!

Great addition to my daughter's desk! Lots of spaces for storage and not too big. Took my husband and I approximately 1.5 hours to put together. Very sturdy and the directions come with templates for fastening it to the desk. Would definitely recommend!

Got the set - desk and hutch. It's reslly nice and the compartments are perfect size. Easy assembly
