A must have for good sleep

My sleep was dramatically improved since I bought and installed the panels. I have blackout curtains, but the light still leaks from the top, so I would be waken up by the first sunlight. It made a huge difference for me after I added the panel, and I should have bought this product long time ago. It's very easy to put on and take off. Highly recommend!

Not worth the prixe

Requires to be fixed with nails, it does not stay up with the adhesive they give you. It blacks out the light but the fabric feels cheap, and it was on sale days later for half the price - it bummed me out because it is not worth full price.

Not black out

Darkens the room but not completely black out - disappointing considering the price. It's also very hard to clip the ends to the top without a stool if you are short.

Works great!

Got this blackout curtain for baby's room. It works really well. Kind of wish we installed it more taut because there's a tiny bit of light still escaping but overall it's so much better than another one we tried.

Good black out, poor anchor system

Good in terms of black out quality however anchors that stick to the wall do not hold well and caused damage to the drywall when they fell off the wall multiple times. Customer service of umbra is great though in that they were able to help as I was not 100% satisfied with the product.

Great for around a window air conditioner

Love these blackout panels. They are pretty close to perfect. I also recommended to a friend who purchased as well. My only disappointing thing about this is paying full price and my friend getting them on sale for 50% off. Glad for her but wish I could have paid the same.

Kept falling down

Unfortunately this didn't work for us. It's nice and thick but the sticky pegs to hang it do not stay on the wall. It was hard to hang in the first place, the pegs couldn't handle the weight of the panel, and they would fall, sometimes immediately or a day later, often taking wall paint with them. We use command strips and other sticky wall products and have never had this issue.

Great option to drilling holes

Very nice alternative to putting holes in the wall! The gromets are very strong and hold up the panel wonderfully. We put it sideways so the only complaint is that I wish the holes were evenly spaced. There are not 4 holes on all sides on this size of panel.

Perfect for infants

We set this up in our 3 month olds nursery and have made a positive impact on her sleep quality. The room is significantly darker/pitch black even during the days the ability to allow light in easily and installation in general is very easy

Hardware not robust enough

The hardware is not strong enough to hold up the curtain. Very poor design.

Small pinholes let light through

We installed this in our baby’s room and it’s not totally blocking out light. There are small pinholes with light coming through, and it looks red where the windows are.

Mom’s approval for toddler blackout blinds!

They truly are blackout! I recently moved my 21 month old son into a new bigger room before his new baby bro came. His currently room was total blackout but only had one small window. I moved him into a room with three HUGE south-facing windows. I tried SO many “blackout” curtain and blind options and nothing worked, so I was SO happy to finally find these! They are so easy to hang (I did it by myself at 39 weeks pregnant!) and I love that I can open the blinds in the days to let the sunlight in! I really highly recommend these blinds!

Love!

These work great for our baby’s nursery! The blackout curtains we bought from target were still letting a ton of light through so we threw these under them and it works great. It’s nice having the option to pin them up when you want natural light in the room, unlike other options we’ve tried that stick to the window.

Truly blackout and easy installation!

It makes the room very dark and the installation was so easy! I would recommend this product.

Nightfall blackout panel

I received the product I ordered in a timely manner but unfortunately it was defective. I contacted Umbra and sent pictures to show the defect. They responded in less than a day, apologized for the issue and immediately sent me out another nightfall panel. It arrived in perfect condition. Thanks for your support.

High Quality & Works Great!

Perfect and flexible window covering! Wish it came with extra mounts but we just split them up between two windows so that we could blackout out the living room for projector use during the day and our bedroom for sleep at night.

As advertised, solid product

I was able to hang the product with ease and, having a big window, was able to connect two panels together relatively easily. The panels feel secure to the wall and easy to remove if needed. The material of the panel is high quality as well.

They work great. There is no daylight showing anywhere. I’ve had the best sleep ever. Even when I wake up to use the washroom because it’s dark I go right back to sleep.

Nap times are saved!

I was struggling to get my son to take a nap with his room being so bright. I really didn’t want to hang anything permanently since I know naps will not be forever so I decided to give this blackout panel a try. It’s PERFECT. His room is pitch black when it is up and I can take it down so easily without even noticing the clear holders on the wall. Speaking of the clear wall holders…they were very simple to install. It took me all of 2 minutes to up it up. I am now going to install these in the other 2 bedrooms in my house!

Versatile, blocks out most light

Fairly easy to install, although they should either include more sticky tabs or have them as an item for sale if this product is being marketed as re-positionable. Be careful when removing as they can take off paint.
