Exactly what I wanted

I ordered these to fit a 2x4 rail and they work perfectly! The quality of the plastic/resin appears to be good. The edges are nicely rounded and the container is not tapered, so a 12" pot fits perfectly inside. I've had them for over three weeks now, through some heavy rain and wind and they sat securely on the rail. I was so pleased to be able to get this color as it complements my existing pots (can't get that color anymore) and blends in well where I needed these to go.

Great planters

These come exactly as listed. They are a great size, very sturdy and can hold multiple plants. You also have holes to mount the planter on your deck so the wind don't catch them and blow them off. Great buy.

Perfect for deck railing plant application

What a great product! Sturdy-built and attractive. Fit the deck railing perfectly. I might suggest that you drill a drain hole if you need it. These pots don't have one

Really unique and practical flowering patio pots

This is the perfect pot for plants if you are in an apartment and want to utilize your small patio with plants. I drilled some holes underneath to allow for water drainage. I also drilled 4 slightly larger holes to fit the zip ties (the extra long ones--you can get these at Home Depot, Lowes) through so you can secure the ties under the railing and the pot will not fall off. My railing is 2" wide--this will work for 2" to 4" for the railing width. My plants are thriving beautifully on top. I have 5 of these pots on my patio. They look great from the outside of the building, too. Very pretty colors, too.

This pot will make your patio dirty

The pot was cute but the one I received was damaged and defective. Make sure you have something underneath the pot to capture all the water and soil drainage because it will leak all over the place and make the patio railing and patio balcony muddy and dirty.

This pot claims to sit on my 4" wide railing. It does not. It has two openings along the bottom to slide onto the railing. While the bigger one works, it is not secure and slips and tips backward and forward. No security ties or holes to run a Bungie cord through are included. It will fall off the railing, poses a danger to people below.

Great planter

I am creating a succulent balcony patio in Ca so hot in summer and white is prefect...MEASURE your rail before you buy anything I bought just one to test it. It firs fine and will send photo when I plant my succulents also looking at other planters for various uses in that area

Had to go back and REORDER ANOTHER ONE!

I bought some zip ties like it suggested if it didn't fit. Worked perfect for my metal large gate. Just reordered another one to go close to it on gate. Planning on planting morning glories and they can dangle down. Love my rail planter!

Durable and useful!

Fits across top of wooden deck bannister just fine. We can use them as planters, ice buckets, dog toy baskets...and off season they stack in the garage. This is a good product. Seems durable. I bought four optic white ones.

Exactly as described

Ordered two of these. Planters are exactly as described. Need to drill a drain hole in them. They seem pretty secure on the 2x4 railing I have them on. Only gave 4 stars because the shipping was 10 days later than I was supposed to get them.

Pleased with this purchase.

Overall I was pleased with these railing planters (I purchased 2). They exactly fit on my 5.5 inch Trex railing. No need to fasten them with zip ties. The only thing was the inside of the pot, due to the indentation for sitting on the railing, did not leave a lot of space for the root ball of the plant. But I made it work and the plant is doing fine.

Exactly what my deck needed

We have a small deck so I needed something that would not take up valuable floor space but stil add color. I bought two of these two years ago. They are perfect.
