Good but the color is way off

The picture represents the desk well: style, two large file drawers, but the color is waaay off and I am unhappy with the desk I am now stuck with. It is much darker and doesn’t fit with my current decor.

I purchased this desk about a month ago. Assembly was offered, however, I decided to take on the task myself, simply because it was easier to carry it into my home office unassembled. Directions were well laid out, they even slipped a bit of humor into the directions, and assembly was extremely easy.Took me 1.5 hours to assemble, but at a relaxed pace. No frustration what-so-ever.Material is of great quality and its look is very sophisticated.I highly recommended this desk.
