Newer but thinner

Noticeably thinner and lighter than they used to be. We have a older set and wanted to augment it. The new versions are adequate, but that’s all.

Bubble Wine Glasses

I will never order anything from your company again. You claim to have a no-hassle return policy, but when I tried to return wine glasses that were ordered by mistake I was told I would have to pay the return postage which came to $189. I only paid $79 for the 4 sets. This is messed up. I returned a box that had 2 broken glasses in it and it cost me $31. This is really messed up.

Pretty! Nice size. Careful to not lean sideways in dishwasher. Sides are delicate.

The etching doesn't match the original glasses

We've been using Cheers Highball glasses for about 8 years. On a few occasions bought more either because they broke or we just needed additional glasses. We liked the designs and the feel of the glass. Yes, they are more delicate than some, so we know to be more careful. I bought 2 more boxes to add to our collection because the price was right and what a disappointment. The quality of the etching no where near the quality of the original glasses as you can see in the photo.The left is the new glass, and the right is the older glass. The new glass is even a little lighter. I wrote Mikasa and this is their response, "it is manufactured using a combination of manual and automated techniques which may include updates over time to materials and industry standards. We do our best to produce our active patterns with as consistently as possible, but over time a pattern may show slight variations in color, size, volume, and pattern relief." Other people may mind the variation, but I don't.

Beautiful elegant design. Not flimsy glassware. Looks very stylish.

AWFUL!!

These glasses are absolutely horrible. Purchased these several years ago and loved them, but the newer version has poor etching, bubbles and cheaper glass, Awful!!

thinnest drinking glasses ever

I should’ve went deep into the reviews. When they came, I thought maybe this was the norm. One tipped over today and shattered. Did not fall off of anything just simply tipped over onto the countertop. I’ve had much cheaper glasses that could withstand tipping over. I highly do not recommend. Keep searching.

Whimsical all purpose glassware

Complements Mikasa crystal martini glasses I purchased almost 20 years ago. Great for mixed drinks or non alcoholic beverages, or water and ice.

One of the glasses had

One of the glasses had a chip on the rim. I just reported this today. Aside from that we love these glasses and have purchased in the past. Twice actually. This is our third.

The Mikasa Cheers highball glasses are the perfect weight and design. I already owned the Cheers martini glasses and was thrilled to find the highball glasses. They were packed carefully and are beautiful additions to my collection.

I’ve used the Cheers highball glasses daily for years and love them. The last set from Bed Bath and Behond were thinner on the top edge and 3 have broken or chipped which has been a disappointment but still the best ever for iced tea or water. I also have the other drink ware in Cheers.
