Best pressure cooker out there

I occasionally try other (cheaper) pressure cookers but ALWAYS end up kicking myself %26 going back to Chef IQ. The technology works well, is easy to customize to what you want to make w/ great, reliable results. It may be a little more expensive than the more known brands, but I’m done w/ checking other units. Chef IQ is the only brand I’ll buy going forward. Trust me, buying a slightly more expensive brand once is better than buying a cheaper brand first %26 then buying this one!

The CHEF iQ Black 6 Qt Multi-Functional WIFI Smart Pressure Cooker is a fantastic product! This high tech machine is super sleek and can easily stand out as a high-end appliance. The pressure cooker has a ton of amazing functions. I use the pressure cooker to slow cook meats! It makes both chicken and pork tender and moist. I absolutely love the app and the built in cookbook. I followed the step by step directions to make mashed potatoes and they were amazing! I love being able to easily manage the cooker from your device. The pressure cooker comes with two seals, which is convenient if you’re cooking something savory and then switching to something sweet. I feel safe using this pressure cooker and highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to minimize the amount of dishes they’re using when cooking. CHEF iQ for the win!

does not work

i bought a month ago and after 5 cooking it started not to warm up and eventually stopped completely and it would not turn on. the app that comes with is awfully bad because it has a lot of ingredients that you have to buy to make it and when food cooking is done you still need to add an extra time to make it done well. I recommend this cooker if you don't know how to cook basic food or if you are too lazy to cook like me. but if you have nice on nice pan and you know how to cook you don't need this machine . lastly, the customer service is not helpful at all.

New tech, bad execution

The product experienced chipping after a single use. While the design is aesthetically pleasing, with a matte black finish, it lacks the ability to be started remotely despite having Wi-Fi capabilities. Although it bears a resemblance to a Thermomix, its functionalities are significantly limited compared to the Thermomix. Considering the price point, there are more cost-effective options available, such as the Instant Pot. Therefore, I do not recommend this product.

Love it so far

We've had the Chef IQ a couple weeks now and love it. It makes fantastic meals quickly. The App guides you through the prep and cooking process in writing and video. Very easy to follow. The app offers lots of recipes which are easily searchable. We can make very healthy meals which come out tasting great in a short period of time.

Awesome Multi cooker

Bought this to replace my Foodie and I am so glad I did. The ability to program my settings and the built in scale is a game changer. Also, loved that the pressure cooker releases the pressure button on its own. Great product!

Simplifies cooking. I wish it came on a bigger size. Easy to set up abd love the weekly recipes. Tech support is vwry responsive and helpful. Cooks everything accurately.

This pressure cooker is absolutely amazing! I am in love with all of the features, the ability to have a built in scale for food, the safety features to ensure you’re using the product correctly each time, and the different pressure release options. It is definitely a beautiful and luxurious add to my kitchen appliances. I’ve made beef tips and red beans and rice in it and my smoked meats just fall off the bone they get so tender. I actually got rid of my original pressure cooker because of ease of using this one. Definitely something you want to add to your kitchen.

I still can't get over how impressive this pressure cooker is! I'm used to high tech gadgets, but this is probably the coolest one I've come across yet. In fact, I feel like simply calling it's not even fair for someone to label it as merely a pressure cooker - because it also sears, steams, and slow cooks. But what really blew me away is the CHEF iQ app integration and step by step guides. It's perfect for someone who is a beginner to pressure cooking, a beginner to cooking in general, so that you can cook just about anything without needing to look it up online. While I say that, I feel like even those that are pros in the kitchen would appreciate the luxury and convenience that the automation provides. You can absolutely go manual too and just go off your own settings and times if you already know exactly what you're doing. You want to cook potatoes? Ok, what kind? Sweet potatoes, you say? Whole or diced? How much does it weigh? You don't know... that's fine, throw it in the pot and we'll weigh it for you. Cool, that's 1 lb of diced sweet potatoes, here's the exact settings we recommend for specifically that, just hit start. What type of rice? Is that chuck roast cubed? How about a video recipe of us walking you through exactly what to do if the written prompts on the device aren't enough for you? The video recipes on the app sync with the appliance! This cooker literally puts other "smart" appliances to shame. If I had to come up with a "con", you'll probably need to spend about 30 mins of playing around with it to figure out everything you can do with it. But that process was honestly fun.

I got this a few days ago and couldn’t wait to use all the functions. You will need to download an app. It will help guide you threw so much. I love the weight scale. The fact that I can control the temp and setting of it from my hand. I absolutely love the pressure cooker itself. Speak durable design. App will continue to update the app and the cooker. I’ve made three meals that would have otherwise taken hours. And it cut it down to 45 min max. I would highly recommend.

This pressure cooker (plus saute, slow cook, steam, and more) changes the cooking game for me! I've been using a similar "instant" unit for years, but this IQ is amazing! I made basic brown rice first, and it came out perfect, just like a rice cooker would. I love the app, for recipes, but wasn't able to keep it online during cooking, but I'll keep trying. The unit itself is sooo smart! You can choose almost any food and style of cooking, and it weighs it and tells you if you need liquid, and exactly how much, plus, it calculates the time for you! If you want, there is a manual setting so you can do your own thing too. I just love everything about it!

This is the MACK DADDY of pressure of cookers it can do everything a regular pressure can plus more! I truly love the fact that I can connect my phone to the cooker to keep a close eye on everything. Once you download this easy to install app, you also get a menu as well right your fingertips so no need to go and look for a cookbook! It has a feature that I could not wait to use SOUS VIDE I have never had that option before, and I hear to tell you it cooked my steak perfectly! Looking forward to whatever else I can sous vide. This is the do all pressure cooker. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I used to think that cooking in a pressure cooker would be dangerous, but Chef iQ is taking care of this issue also, it is really safe to cook as the lid doesn’t open until pressure is fully released. The capacity is a plus point as it is convenient to cook large batches at one time. Connectivity is hassle free, it readily connects with WiFi . The app has so many recipes with videos to cook any food without wasting time to think what to cook. You can even delay your cooking using the mobile app. This intelligent cooker has so many options to select from, like sauteing/searing, Slow cooking, pressure cooking, steam and more. You can add your favorite recipe in an option of favorites to instantly select and start cooking. We love this smart cooker! We always use to call these pressure cookers but this Chef IQ smart cooker is more than just your regular pressure cooker. The chicken cooks so fast and is super juicy making our children wanting more. This smart cooker is now our go to device for meals that the whole family enjoys.

An Honest Review

PLEASE HEAR ME OUT, IT'S WORTH YOUR TIME!! OK, So me and my husband really tried giving this product the benefit of the doubt, but how can you when you already have gotten through 3 in less than a year!? I really fell in love when I first got this product; a little story, we've been using an old Pressure Cooker that was passed on to us by an old neighbor we used to had at our older apartment. We were scared to use it at first, after so many people talking about horror experiences with it exploding and causing horrible traumas, no no no, I pray to families who have gone through this traumatic experience... but anyways, we just needed an upgrade, and when I saw this at our local Walmart, OOF!, I fell in love and immediately grabbed it. It was working for a few months, until randomly it stopped working, we got another one... not working either after 2 weeks of use. Called to report the issue with the company, so they send us a new one. We saw a new update for the second one we had that stopped working, we decided to give it a try and update the system within the pressure cooker [Me thinking in between the review cause I've got ADHD: ("oh and did I mentioned that this product has a computer inside of it connected to an app and the internet?? well it does, and when it is not going the way you planned, you're just gonna have to go with the flow honey"). END OF THOUGHT, PLEASE CONTINUE READING] Anyways, we updated the system hoping it would resolve the issue, and lo and behold IT DID!!! WOHOO!!!! Until it stopped working again the very second time we used it today, just now actually. At this point, since we already have both that stopped working, we don't even wanna open the new one, we really gave up on this one and got a better one from Insignia that's 10qt for $40 on Best Buy!!!! You have to buy it

I have tried the cropck pot instant pot before this one and it didn’t come with an extra seal of the extra little things that this one did. The app that goes with this is amazing and has step by step instructions with a video to follow, plus you can plan the meal with the listed ingredients and even have them delivered through the app if you’re needing something. Its very simple and easy to use and the best appliance purchase I’ve made

Great concept but poorly built

The smart pressure cooker I bought today hasn't been working as it was intended and upon further research and observation I found that the product was manufactured poorly. There is a pin that is supposed to be depressed when the lid is turned to it's locked position. Come to find out the pin isn't depressed because the machine was assembled wrong. I paid almost 200 dollars for this and the machine isnt even built right. Great concept but poorly built. I will be returning this product to get my money back.

Great product!

Love this product. Helps any novice cook become better. The recipes in the app are 100% step by step with easy to follow video and written directions. Must have a smart phone to set-up. but after that, you can use the appliance or your phone to set. Using the weight scale to assist with cooking is a game changer - examples? When cooking rice, you weigh the rice and it tells you exactly how much water to add to get perfect results! It is pricey, bur well worth every penny!
