My wife asked for an air fryer out of the blue. I’m the primary “heater for dinner”. She works 8 hours a day. Lifts weights after work. No she comes home to cook food! She loves it. Large capacity. Uses simple recipes. Easy clean up. It really fits w our lifestyle.

The Chef Man Air Friar With Digital Touch Display, 5 Quart Basket Windowed has changed my life in the kitchen. I am the primary cook in our family and while I have a number of other cooking devices this one is the one I use the most.

I purchased this item just yesterday! On use total number two, that use being today just moments ago, the fuse or light or something blew! No longer producing heat or light, I’ve been robbed of $80 and left with all this frozen food I purchased to use in this new air fryer device.

The window for watching the cooking process is both entertaining and informative. The basket slides out easily and is easy to clean.

Short lived

Stopped working after just 10 uses and I don't even use it often at all. Very disappointed. It did workbl good though when it was working.

Great air fryer !

Have had ours about eight months and love it, does an awesome job, we always use the paper liners which eliminated having a clean a dirty greasy rack. I don't think a day has gone by that we have not used it.

The Chefman digital air fryer is pretty nice. The “viewing window” is a nice feature so that you can see your food cooking without having to pull out the basket and lose all of the heat. However, when you do pull out the basket, putting it back in can be a little tricky for some reason. The basket doesn’t always seem to slide back in easily for some reason. Also, the inside of window seems to get dirty fairly easily and isn’t the easiest or quickest to clean or dry. But I do like the “high fry” feature to quickly add additional time at a high temp and nicely brown/crisp the food. The probe is also a great feature so that you don’t have to rely on the look of the food and the temp of the fryer. And finally, I like that the basket and rack are easy to clean (and dishwasher safe), compared to some more traditional mesh baskets that collect debris and oil buildup.

Overall this product cooks food more like an oven than a microwave, but takes about as long as the microwave. I have noticed that some food has a weird taste after cooking in the fryer. I also have not found how to get the perfect crisp on my fries yet. The bottom piece that goes in the basket can be a little hard to line up when it is removed and replaced. Also the thermometer does not have a permanent spot to hang on the machine, which has resulted in me just storing it on top. Besides the two issues, the machine functions well and is easy to use.

I got the CHEFMAN 5-Quart Digital Air Fryer because all of its features seemed appealing to me. These include 8 customizable cooking presets, it has a large window to see the food cooking, it’s nonstick and the basket/tray is dishwasher safe. The directions are easy to understand and it didn’t take long for me to learn how to use it.

The fryer is a lot quieter compared to my last. I love all the options it has. Chicken tastes better than baking them in the oven. Doesn’t take much space on my kitchen countertop. The best part of having this is I don't have to heat up the whole oven , then release all that hot air into my house, making my AC work hard to cool down. This saves a lot of money too.

This air fryer is really nice. First, I like the square design. This allows the air fryer to cook more food than the round versions that are out there. This also I think makes it easier to flip the food and move it in the air fryer. Second, I love, love, love that it lights up and has a window so you can see the food cooking. My whole family really appreciates this ability. Third, I felt it did a great job of cooking evenly. I really appreciate that as some can have hot spots. The temperature probe is really nice to see what the temperature of the food is at while cooking. This air fryer also came with liners which are really nice for such easy clean up. Fourth, even without the liners the air fryer is easy to clean up. Finally, the temperature controls are easy to change as well as the time. All in all a great air fryer.

Received this item as a free sample in exchange for honest reviews. It's a really good air fryer for normal everyday life. I used it for cooking and dehydrating. I love the front window that allows me to see the status of the food without opening it every a few minutes and control how much I want the food to be cooked. More convenient and saves more time than use a regular oven.
