The stools were ordered for our church funeral family greeting. They were nice and wide, had arms and a foot brace and a swivel. It was just what we wanted. They were a bit difficult to assemble but did work out. They hopefully won't get lots of use. (My issue was not with the stools but getting a tax exempt, as our church official Wisconsin form wasn't what they wanted even when other big box places accepted it.)
Nope. Do not waste your money. These chairs are not high quality. If you lean back in the chair, the bottom arm catches so you can't turn the chair, very poor craftsmanship - and the price is exorbitant. The seat cushion is great for a day or two, but once you continue to sit in it, it scratches up and starts to peel. I have attached a photo. I ordered two chairs. The arm broke off one on day 1 right after we put together and the second chair, both arms broke off 3 months later. They are not very sturdy or strong and if you notice, I attached another photo, the wood just splinters off of them - I am not beating these chair with concrete, but if you look at the photos, it looks like that is what I have been doing. I have just been sitting in them??? - They are great pieces to just look at, but not to actually sit in. Wayfair has amazing customer service, Tiffany, she sent me a replacement each time, the new one will arrive soon, so we have put these chairs together 4 times now, and the instructions are not great either. So just be weary, I would not pay what they are asking - they are just not worth it.
My husband loves this stool. He's legally blind and needs to sit close to the TV and the barstool that he was sitting in before to watch TV wasn't that comfortable, This barstool is very comfortable, so much so that sometimes he falls asleep in it. He and I put the chair together and I have to say that it is heavy, it is well built and it is a beautiful piece of furniture.
