It wasn’t the best option for my kitchen window. When you look at the back of the shade from the outside, the fabric looks untidy.
Not blackout
I bought the "CHICOLOGY Cordless Roman Shade Del Mar Pearl Grey (Blackout)" shade (3 of them for 3 side-by-side windows). The boxes all indicate this color/style on them. But these are definitely not blackout. They are room darkening at best, and not even great at doing that.
Not blackout
Bought the Del Mar Pearl Grey Blackout color. This is not remotely blackout. The attached photo shows this roman shade on one window and a blackout curtain on the window next to it. Construction quality seems OK, size seems true (it actually fit inside my window!), but it is light filtering, not even room darkening, and far from blackout. Disappointed.

Chicology The Runway Ready made White Cordless Light Filtering Magnetic Roman shade
The Runway Ready made White Cordless Light Filtering Magnetic Roman shade is made to prevent sun rays and glares. The cordless design is a safety feature if there are small children around. The magnetic strips are placed to allow natural light as needed. It can be mounted two ways. A depth of 2 in. is required for inside mount or 2.25 in. for a flush inside mount. It is easy to install and has a clean, crisp look on the window.
Does its job
This shade is easy to install and has all the necessary components within the package (except the power tools). It looks decent and does its job well. I would not define it as a luxurious-looking product, but it certainly fulfills its purpose. The magnetic fabric is a rather interesting and a creative way to achieve the desired results without having to use a cord. Overall, it is a good product.
Wont stay up
The color is nice however the brackets will not click in on the top. It randomly falls down. Not impressed for the money.

Nicely Finished and just the color I wanted.
These shades are very nice for the price. The finishing is nicely done and the fabric is substantial. They are blackout shades and do a nice job of it. I knew that light would show around the edges because of how I'd have to install them. That doesn't bother me. The picture show the pleated shades that I'm replacing, which do not block the light at all, so I'm very happy with the new Roman Shades. I also like the fact that they are cordless and are easy to raise and lower.

Not quite blackout but I figured that would be the case with the color being so light. Also since I had to outside mount them some light sneaks out the sides but again, I expected that. Overall they work well and keep out a good amount of light and heat from the sun. The brackets being all metal is a plus too. The fabric could be a little nicer but it's fine for the price.

I'm really pleased with the product. I already have blinds and blackout curtains in place in me bedroom window but I wanted something additional to help block out sunlight. These shades bring a mounting equipment but I actually ended up buying stick on velcro and used that to attach the shades directly to the headrail of my existing blinds. The shades are pretty lightweight so I don't think I'll have an issue with it falling off. They also provide some privacy when I open the blinds

The shades are true to color and size. Good choice for the money. I would purchase again.
