The quality of the product was very good, the base was extremely sturdy and heavy duty compared to other similar barstools that had an aluminum base. We really liked the design but after receiving it, the color of the seat that was shown in the photo appeared quite a bit lighter than the actual color it was in person. We didn't dislike it, it just wasn't the color we were looking for and needing for our space. The design of the base itself worked really well. The chair was as comfortable as could be expected, not uncomfortable but not overly comfortable either as the seat gets more narrow at the back per its design. The back is a pretty low back but that is just the modern design. Overall, I liked the design but I don't think its worth a $400+ price tag as we compared with other chairs that were very similar in design for a third of the price.
