LOVE these! Has a naturally aged look making the colours and feel for our modern country reno perfect. They're also surprisingly comfortable under our feet, thin but nicely cushioned! Plus, we ordered the open box option so got a terrific deal!

I've only had the rug for 4 months. It has faded where it is walked on and now has a purple hue/tint to the merlot color. Though it vacuums well, I would not buy this product due to the color change. Avoid if you like your purchases to last more than a few months. Very poor value.

Runners Purchase in October 2024.

The rug is beautiful and excellent quality! I ordered two runners, a short one about 2' x 4' for the foyer entrance and a longer one about 2'6" x 7'6" for the hall. They are true to size. I also ordered rug pads, which was very easy to cut to size, because the runners are placed on hardwood floors and I did not want movement in the runners. The pad holds the rug in place very nicely. I would definitely order from this company again.

Please notice the big white marks on it in the photos... They're very noticeable in person... I guess it's supposed to look worn but it looks like someone spilled white powder on the rug or they ran out of color to stain the rug. The color is different in person. In the picture it looks brighter red but in person it is more burgundy.

This description isn’t accurate. The product is not a rug, it is a very large mat. The color is accurate, but the design is not a weave, it’s the image of a weave printed on a flat mat. There is no real depth or texture. If you are looking for a mat for a very casual space, it might work, but it is not appropriate if you want an elevated space.

This is a beautiful rug, the colors are warm and bright. I didn't want anything too red, and was so glad to see this rug was burgundy with shades of pink and blue. It really is gorgeous and perfect for high traffic areas.

The colors in the rug are stunning. It’s exactly what I wanted and looks beautiful. It came perfectly packaged and rolled out beautifully. The ends lay perfectly flat and it’s super soft feels great when walking on it.

This rug looks great in our home and pulls together the colors I was working with without being overbearing. The rug is thin and has no pile as it is woven and has a screen printed design, but still feels soft underfoot. If you are looking for a traditional rug with actual pile this may not be for you. Would recommend a rug pad underneath if you plan to use it on a hardwood floor area.

Great Purchase

Two beautiful printed runners! Have a nice feel underfoot, no pile to shed! My cat loves to lay and stretch on them, I guess she thinks I bought them just for her.

My condo is open concept and I have an older Oriental Rug in the Living Rug area. This Merlot Rug is exactly what I needed in the dining area to coordinate with the muted colors of the old rug. I put a mat under it to make it more comfy. It will be easy to keep clean. I have now ordered a small rug for my front entrance.

We're very happy with the rug. I added the .33" non slip rug pad and that makes it feel more luxe than it would without it. Color-wise, it is a more muted red than shown in the photos. But, it still works nicely with my room and furniture. The vintage look is beautiful and makes it feel truly aged and cozy. My dining room felt instantly more inviting. very pleased. I'm thinking of getting the runner size for my kitchen. I appreciate the value and price.

Excellent rug. I’ve had it for 2 years now and it has held up very well. It doesn’t show any dirt whatsoever and the more wear it gets the more antique it looks so I would definitely order this again or something similar to it.

Inaccurate colors/$100 to return ship/$40 oversize ship fee

The colors in person appear more browish red and the tans more olive green color. Rugs direct will charge you $100 to return this rug if you don’t like it in person after you’ve already paid $40 in oversized shipping fees to purchase it to begin with. Don’t recommend the rug and certainly don’t recommend Rugs Direct.

I love the look and design/colors, but the quality is lacking. It’s already coming undone and I just put it down two days ago in our new house. I don’t even have furniture on it yet. I don’t expect it to last. I wanted to buy more for the house, so I’m glad I just bought one. Disappointed

No cushion at all, would suggest a pad for underneath. The photos online and even mine show it more blue but in person is much more purplish gray. Pretty rug but not right for the area I needed.

Good purchase

Very nice bedside runners for bedroom. Colors aren't as vibrant as they appeared online, but they are still quite pretty! Printed rather than a higher pile, so they are easy to vacuum.

Ordered three runners and used one in my hall and two on our staircase once we refinished it. All three were different widths. We were able to make it work, but it was tricky on the staircase to try to make it unnoticeable. Two were the same color, but one was definitely more faded. Thankfully we were able to use the two that matched the best on the steps and the one in the hall isn’t right next to them or I would be returning. Quality is what you would expect for the price and the fact that it is printed. They do clean up well. I’ve had the one out in the hall for 6 months with heavy traffic and a dog and it has held up fine.

It's a rug. It's currently doing what rugs do. Laying on my floor. It's not hitting on my girlfriend and it's not eating my leftover Chinese food. So for that, 5 stars.

This rug serves its function very well. We have kids and pets so this isn’t the era for collecting high end rugs. We’ve had it for 3 years and it is holding up great. The stitching on the side is staying put despite its high traffic area placement.
