Doesn’t Light Up My Life

I bought 4 @ $114 each and paid an electrician to install them. After almost a year they all went out and after writing and calling the company they sent me a replacement insert for only one. I felt robbed. They are throw aways. There is nothing you can do but replace them. A serious breach of customer commitment. I honestly don’t know why they are still being sold. What a sad excuse for a company.

Fraudulent Marketing!

We purchased four of these for a walk-in closet. Loved them at first - very bright! The packaging boasts lasting 50,000 hours or 5.7 years, if left on all day, every day. One of the fixtures lasted only 16 months after install - that's much less than even 2,000 hours! The box store said to contact manufacturer. We tried and left three messages, as others have mentioned in other reviews. No one ever got back to us. I do not recommend this product - buyer beware!!

light stopped working and hundred bucks down drain

I bought this light in mid 2021 and it stopped working only after 15 months. You can just replace the bulb, now I have to replace the entire light fixture! That’s a HUNDRED bucks flushed down the drain. Don’t buy the lights that have an already built in light bulb. It’s a scam!!

Internals caught on fire, burning my ceiling

After installing in my kitchen and using for ~1-2 years the light flickered then began emitting smoke as the plastic components failed and caught on fire. This resulted in burn damage to my ceiling and a visit from the fire department. Luckily nobody was hurt. Would not recommend any products from this company.

So disappointed

I was so excited when I installed these lights in my home, only for one of them to start flickering 8 months later. The second one I had also started flickering. So today I had to go spend go another $318 at Home Depot for new ones because I don’t have light in my kitchen. I don’t plan on wasting any more money on Artika again. This is the first time I’ve ever had a problem with the lights sold at Home Depot, so I hope to get my money back.

Perfect Glam Light!

I loved this light so much I put it in my master closet and two bedrooms. The light is beautiful on or off. It projects a nice amount of light. Not too cool or warm toned, just right. Instant on, no buzzing sound. No complaints. I like that I don't have to change bulbs and it's easy to wipe clean.

I put this light In two different homes over the dinning room table. Love it! Looks like Stars. Nice quality. And its 69. In the store. The first one I purchased was full price.

Elegant - must have

We bought two of these as we are Remodling our master closet. Two large fluorescent light sets - like you’d put in a garage - were in our closet. We saw this light and knew it’d elevate the feel in our closet - making it amazing and it did. Light is very bright as its LED - two cover the lightening need well for our large closet.

Wobbly flush mount

I installed this per the instructions in our bedroom closet. The bracket is tight/flush with the ceiling. The fixture does NOT mount flush - it wobbles. I contacted the vendor and after having to send them pictures and VIDEOS, they stopped contacting me and said they were waiting for "technical input", then never responded. My spouse likes the amount of light and its look so we're stuck with it. The sad thing is we got another Artika flushmount for our laundry room and it mounted flush....!

Installation wasn't too difficult, though for the last step I needed a second person to hold the lamp in place while I screwed in the last fastener. The lamp gives a beautiful light, the sparkling lights look almost like crystals. It works great with a dimmer, and is quite bright when the dimmer is moved to the full position.

Looks great in my wife’s new boutique closet upgrade. Easy to install, no light bulbs to replace and looks expensive. Very happy with the product. Our ceiling is slightly angled but since it’s in our new closet it’s not a big problem that the light shines a little more to one side. Recommended!

Doesn’t hug the ceiling

Looks ok but isn’t flush with the ceiling. Without something to stabilize it, it “jiggles”. Contacted customer service. Their response was it was installed incorrectly. I can assure the reader that the instructions were followed to a “t”. That is terrible service, blaming the customer.

Mounting is a real pain.

Purchased for my entry hallway. Beautiful light & really does the job illuminating the space. Only issue was the light is quite heavy, and they have a cable with carabiner on it to hold the light up during wiring. The screws to attach the light to the mounting bracket are so short (less than 1/2 inch) it is almost impossible to insert them while holding the light up on a ladder and trying to fasten them. I only have two hands. Had to find a couple of much longer machine screws that would fit to install the light. They really should consider putting longer screws into the package. Overall, however it is a good light.

I love my new light! My eye doctor has several of them in the hallway of her office. They look like diamonds on the ceiling. I saw them last year and loved them. I was there the other day and after the visit, went right to Home Depot to buy it!

So heavy

This thing is so heavy that it drags all the provided screws straight out of the outlet box and the drywall anchors provided. I had to wrap 2 inch wood screws with tape and drill two extra holes for this thing to precariously hang from the ceiling. Looks great besides the yellow light I hate. I've installed 50 or 60 ceiling lights and fans and this was the most irritating.

I did not know this is a 'throw away' light...

I did not know this is a 'throw away' light fixture until after it was installed! There is nothing on the box the informs a customer this light fixture does not have the option to install new light bulbs when the bulbs expire! Again, there is nothing stated on the box, or otherwise, informing buyers this light only lasts for a temporary time frame, and when bulbs go out, you have to throw it away, and get a new light fixture.
