this is a wash station valve commonly used in swimming pool wash stations. alternate descriptive names for this include spring actuated ball valve, self closing ball valve, swim station valve, eye wash station valve, foot wash station valve, first aid wash station valve, and chemical wash station valve. this type of valve also used for Osha compliance around chemical use.

Fast closing shower valve is a perfect replacement for our community swimming pool shower. It appears to be good quality and a great value. Previous valve was installed with galvanized pipe nipple, which rusted and left stains on the pool deck. Make sure you use brass or pvc fittings.

Nice chromed valve
Nice heavy chrome valve. I just had a total hip replacement, it takes several minutes to get into position in the shower. The seat is far enough away that I cant adjust the flow or temperature. With this valve and a 10 foot piece of nylon chord attached l can adjust the temperature and not run out of hot water giving me a longer shower time.
