First, I didn't use this in a mobile home. I used one to put a drain in a steam pan and another to drain a stainless shower pan. I needed a very short drain. So, I cut the drain to about 1 inch long and glued a pvc fitting inside. They are light weight.. but they worked for me. Not sure why they are much more expensive than regular drains with overflow holes.
