It wasn't an exact match but since I had to...

It wasn't an exact match but since I had to get two we changed both and it looks better except the other sink ( this bathroom has two) doesn't match exactly but st least it now has both caps.

Replacement index buttons for faucet

Not an easy product to find, so glad Home Depot carries this item. The only negative is that there are no markings for hot and cold...only polished chrome.

Easy replacement

I was disappointed that I needed to replace this part. It is obviously not common because it was not carried in stores. However, ordering it, picking it up at the store and installing it was all easy. I would say the hardest part was making sure that I was ordering the right part. Fortunately the faucet name and faucet image were a perfect match so I did not have to match the buttons themselves.

AS Index Button

Two years ago we replaced our Moen guest bathroom faucets with American Standard. They are lovely & have serviced us well; however, one day while cleaning the bathroom, we noticed a missing index button. A week later, another one - gone! Don't know where they went unless they slipped off and went down the drain? At any rate, we found replacement parts at Faucet Direct. They arrived in a timely fashion as promised and fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the shipping costs were moe than the value of the product. Go figure.
