Good replacement for the original Kohler sink strainer. Don't buy the Plumber's Choice strainer; the thread is too narrow. Hopefully this one doesn't have the galvanic corrosion of the t-handle that the original did.

I knew that this model of dish strainer was what I needed by looking at the pics and reading the reviews, luckily. 1/2" diameter 2-start thread was what I needed. Gracias!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised at the options available for what I thought would be a difficult to find part for a very old sink. Price was amazing too. Fit and function are good but it’s VERY thin compared to the old basket. You get what you pay for, I know. Happy overall hence the 4 stars but not built well enough to warrant a perfect score.

Finally found the spin-in strainer that fits!

After purchasing other spin-in strainers that didn't fit the threads in my sink, I purchased the Danco 86800. It works perfectly and appears to be well constructed. And FYI, My sink is at least 40 years old, so this may be the spin-in strainer for you if you have an older sink and are experiencing the fitment problems that I encountered.
