Cover plate is chrome plated plastic and doesn’t fit snuggly...
Cover plate is chrome plated plastic and doesn’t fit snuggly on wall like previous plate. Kept assembly for other parts such as handle and valve cover. Previous purchases of same set had issues with mounting screw in shower handle not being fully molded into handle causing it to snag the valve body when operating. Very expensive for the quality of what this is.

Replacement for an older trim kit
We had a "professional" plumber install this for us Nov 2020. Not sure if he just didn't use the 'gasket' behind the trim piece or if it doesn't come with it (perhaps someone can tell me)? But we ended up with a leak from the 'faucet' that the plumber also installed for us. After having water damaged drywall removed we can actually see around the lip of the trim kit. Now did the plumber pick the wrong size for our application? Not sure. The 2nd plumber that came out said the usually there is a piece that goes between the trim piece and the shower stall. I don't see any mention of a 'gasket' in the description of the item here on-line. 1st plumber took our receipt so we're up a creek regarding returning this item.

Sorry to give you a one but I ordered this set plus the single valve replacement on the same order on may 17. I finally got the trim kit but NOT the single handle replacement cartridge I ordered. I can’t use my bathroom tub because of the strong leak. Been waiting on hold for 45 mins. Not happy I might have to shut my water off
