Had to return it, not due to any defect though. The pipe coming out of the wall was too long to accommodate it (old house).

Poor quality. All plastic

I have remodel showers & bathtubs for over 20 years. Out of everything I’ve ever bought. This is the worst product I’ve ever bought. It only brings you issues and headaches.

Don’t do it

I had to look up YouTube video on how to put it together, what a shoot show. Poorly designed and save yourself the aggravation!

the product is defective

Following the not-so-straight-forward directions, I got half way through the installation. I noticed the parts weren't lining up correctly to put the ring with the screw in place. I turned to you-tube and learned that several others had the same issue. It won't tighten all the way because the threads are 180 degrees off. This lose connection will allow the product to leak. I'm refunding. Bought a Delta product that requires a soldered piece, but am highly confident it won't leak.

It was what was advertised, but amazingly, it was so easy to use.

Not as simple as they make it sound

this item canNot be installed as per the instructions. Though the instructions appear to be comprehensive, the item needs a few changes, as well as can not be installed in the order they show. The Plastic 'indent' that is made for the Screw (in the clamp) designed for compression/break-away is way to thick.I had to drill it out. It also seems that to 'align' that hole with the slot in the first plastic piece (not the long tube one) will not necessarily have the long piece' base flange tight against the wall. So, I had to 'preassemble' most of it and slide it on. Overall, after screwing on the spout, it does seem to work. I should have soldered on a hard copper piece and done it 'the right way'. So, i have mixed feelings about this.

Not universal

We bought this to replace an original spout in 1940s home. This will work IF you have a 0.50-0.75 inch long pipe to connect to or it has to be over 2 inches. Our pipe length is 1.5 inches, so after trying all possible options, we had to return this. The outer packaging has little to no information so we didn't know what it would fit until we opened it up at home to read the fine print. Now, if you have a "normal" attachment, I'm sure it's absolutely fine.
