Chrome Bathtub Spout with Diverter

It works but, it was a little tight as I got close to the wall. I guess my pipe was a bit over the recommended length. I heard a slight cracking sound but it seems to work, no leaks.

Not a universal fit as described

This will not work if you have a non-threaded 2in copper pipe sticking out of the wall, its too short to house the pipe so it can't reach to the threads.

Hard to find faucet

The switch valve was near the back of this spout.

New and Shiny

The spout works great. It is new and it looks better than the old one. The product has a reasonable price and the quality is good.

IN two trips to Lowes, I didnt get right faucet

After being sold the wrong faucet even though I brought in the old one, not so much.

Dont forget ti turn the MAINS off!

It fit perfectly, but using a STRAP WRENCH was absolutely necessary (for me):, in order to be abke to tighten it so it was flush with the wall.

Diverter broken on tub faucet

Had to return because handyman says it was the wrong one then why didn't he go buy it if he knew what I was supposed to buy?

This will definitely not fit an older bath tub.

All I wanted was a replacement spout diverter for my old tub, this was a couple of the only ones offered. I got it home and it was to small to fit on my old spout. All the other ones offered were the same small fixture that would not screw on. I don't want to get a plumber to remove and add a whole new system. Nothing wrong just wznted a new one.

Had To Return

After the employee told me this would work (wish i didnt listen). Got home to install. It did fit but have like 3 1/2 inches of copper pipe showing plus this one doesnt have a screw at the bottom to tighten the spout. Had to make a second trip to lowes.

LASTED ONLY ABOUT 6 MONTHS.

This spigot is easy to install. That being said, I have had two. First one lasted about a year and the second about 6 months. The problem with both is the plastic peace with the female screw threads. Both developed a small hairline crack and would leak when the shower diverter was pulled up. Thinking that plastic piece can't handle the water pressure long term

Good replacement

Replaced a 30 year old spout that was only diverting half the water.

I used this becuase my shower has a flapper valve setup. Where you push it in and half falls out the spout then the other half goes to the shower head. Well this product fixed that. It now all comes out the shower head. I left the push valve in place and all is well.

I bought this one because the others were way more expensive. Still, I would expect it to last more than a year. The pull knob broke off just like one other reviewer stated. It would be interesting to see how long it lasted for all the 5 star reviewers. I am going to try threading the pull knob and screwing it in. Maybe I will be able to get a little more use out of it.

Old spout had a constant stream coming from it when taking a shower. This spout with diverter has eliminated the stream and now the shower head has more pressure!

The product itself was cheaply made, not heavy duty material like the one i took off to replace. It worked and did the trick to get my shower back up and running! The service I received that day was wonderful, I needed to set up my military discount and the young lady helping me was extremely nice and helpful!! Kudos to the staff at the store for outstanding customer service.

Avoid

This thing worked fine for a little over a month then the cheap plastic internals failed miserably. I had water pouring down inside the wall behind the tub and found this to be the culprit. The black 3/4" to 1/2" reducer ring was completely fine, but the white outer part of the diverter had cracked from front to back in several places.
