Missing plates

While the plates themselves are beautiful, I unfortunately was only delivered 1 set when I was charged for 2. Despite confirmation from UPS that I was only shipped a single box, Macy's has so far not sent me a second set or reimbursed me. I have had a very bad experience with their customer service, they have been difficult to reach and unresponsive. I would recommend buying these plates, but from another store if at all possible as unfortunately my experience has been similar to other customers who received damaged products and missing items.

Beautiful china needs better packing.

I love our new china! I ordered 3 sets. The only problem was there were 2 broken bowls in one of the sets.

Terrible

Loved the look of this set. I bought 3 sets and the plates are scratched and discolored after 6 months. They are not dishwasher safe! Very disappointed in the quality and no help from customer service.

This dinnerware is exceptional for the cost. Love, love, love them.

Shipping went very well, all boxes (I ordered 3 sets) arrived early. The dinnerware is very nice and honestly feels like it elevates mealtime. We've had guests over who have already ordered the same set. So, no more guests. ;)

Great purchase

Not too heavy, not too light. Love the tone of the white, like a pearl color without the pearliness. The handle on the cups does not get hot when used in microwave. I especially like the size of the plates, they are larger than most. Salad/dessert plate is 9"

Mikasa dishes

I purchase my first set of mikasa dishes for my daughter when she moved into her first apartment that was 21 years ago then after ten years she handed them over to her brother and five years ago he gave them to his younger brother. They green with a leaf pattern. Still going strong minus a few broken pieces. An overall great purchase!

Arrived shattered.

Bought two full sets. Just delivered today. Good looking. One box was perfect. One box was completely smashed. Almost every single thing was shattered. This makes me nervous on the longevity of the remaining pieces. Hoping the company is good about replacing broken pieces because I spent a decent amount on them. Pictures are of every plate in set and one cup and two bowls all broken.

Really pleased with this Mikasa set. The rimmed border blends in very well with my Le crueset traditional pieces but is so much lighter to lift in and of dishwasher/cupboards!

Mikasa won’t disappoint! They are slim but sturdy. Packaged very well and all dishes intact. Lovely for everyday or special occasion.

Love these dishes!

Lovely dishes, just as described-however- after daily use for nearly 3 months it is clear there is a problem with the glaze. The dishes stick to each other after they come out of the dishwasher, as though the glaze has worn off, as if no rinse agent is used (it is). The bowls especially stick and become lodged together when stacked, I’m concerned they will soon chip when taking them out of the cupboard. I bought 2 sets and didn’t have room on the shelf for all 12 pieces, consequently I have several plates that have been washed only once. Comparing the backs, the Mikasa logo is faded and breaking up on the regularly used plate indicating break down of the glaze. This is not a water quality problem- all my other dishes are fine. The dishes did not show any problem until well after the 30 day window for return/compensation.
