This is my third ceiling in 3 years that i have covered. Easy to install. I used Henry 237 compound as adhesive because it allows enough time to adjust positioning.

I am the first in my neighborhood to try these. Installing was fun but would have been easier if I were taller and younger. 5'2" 77 yrs.

A great, quick and easy way to transform a very bad looking tiled ceiling, that had water damage. We hammered in some of the original tiles to ensure the ceiling was as flat as could be before installation, and used the old ceiling tiles perimeters to guide the installation of the center tile. We also used an exacto knife, ruler and cutting board to cut. Perfection!

I love these ceiling tiles! We are in the process of installing them and have all but the perimeter done. Our living room/dining room already looks so much more elegant and they are so easy to install. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the tiles are not exactly the same size. Some are slightly bigger or smaller than the majority, So in order to keep them lining up evenly, we had to leave a slight gap between a few of them whereas the others are butted up against each other. I am hoping that the caulk that is put on the seems hides this flaw but even un-caulked, it's not that noticeable.

Great Tile Ceiling Covers

Great item. Easy to apply. No difficulties. I do recommend. Must buy enough to cover all areas. Homedepot might run out of your tiles so buy the largest amount for your project the first time. I made mistakes the first time applying so buy enough for your mistakes also. Is a two person job, one to apply on ceiling the other to apply glue. Lots.of up and down motions.

This product is capable of producing an excellent looking finished ceiling. But it will take all the finishing touches before it does so. Plan on being meticulous and working hard to get it all to be truly beautiful when its done. I completed an outdoor lanai ceiling in Florida, gluing the panels up onto an existing 'knock-down' texture drywall ceiling. The end result is beautiful. But it required strict adherence to alignment/center-line chalk-line markings, the caulking of all seams and edges, and painting of the ceiling. The tiles paint easy, but they are not easy to paint. The Styrofoam panels have a funny way of resisting paint flow and adhesion. The panels are very light in weight, and thinner than you might expect. They are not very substantial at all. All in all, this product worked well and can make for a beautiful ceiling. I definitely would recommend this product to others.

Love it!

The finished ceiling is fabulous. It was time consuming as we had to caulk between the tiles and then put two coats of paint. However the result was worth it. We did encounter dimples in some of the tiles where the Liquid Nails was applied. The tiles we installed during the day are the ones that dimpled...heat reaction with the adhesive? We hired someone to install so the labor cost was more than we expected. However it's really nice. Looks like a tin ceiling. Bonus is that we didn't have to scrape off the nasty popcorn!
