Real wood

It does appear to be real wood as described. At this price I had my doubts. The drawer bottom maybe not, but can’t be seen. Color as expected by the pictures. Feels smooth to touch. Assembly required, not bad. Provides Allen wrench, will need a screwdriver. I needed my fancy Allen wrench set with handles to have the leverage to tighten myself or I would have needed help.

Solid wood construction

Quality build and solid wood design. Easy to build with simple, clear understandable instructions. No compressed sawdust as most kits are made of. Lightweight but sturdy. No oddball fasteners either. Just wood screws of of different sizes and shapes. I would buy this again.

The style is perfect for our needs as we needed bedside tables in the guest room. Putting it together was time consuming but it was packaged well. The instructions are nothing more than numbered pictures, pretty easy. Take note there are short screws and long screws for specific holes when assembling. I used a long screw instead of a short one and when I flipped the table over, we noticed the tip of the screw had penetrated the top of the table. I was able to camouflage my error with a lamp. They are very sturdy so they earned those 5 stars.

Table itself is sturdy and looks better than in the pictures online; however, I would have liked more clear instructions (had to take apart more and 4 different times because of unclear instructions). There was also a premade piece that ripped apart (part of the drawer) and because it was the wood attached to a screw, it was not possible to fix. This made the drawer wobbly but not dysfunctional. The drawer comes out all the way but tips over after pulling out the drawer for more than 4 inches because of the way that the drawer is made. There is no piece that holds up the back end of the drawer and therefore it falls (like a seesaw) and the drawer is pretty short in height so it won't fit much in there. The drawer stopper is also placed awkwardly and in the middle of the drawer so fitting things is even more of a hassle because of it. Despite all of its shortcomings, the drawer is sturdy in its build and has a nice bottom shelf with good room and works as simply decorative (if drawer is not a necessity).

Well worth the price

It is a reasonably solid piece for our guest bedroom. I would not use this as my own nightstand for day to day use, if only because the drawer is not on a track.

Get something else

I ordered two for my living room because they looked simple and were the right height. Either both came defective or it's a bad product. Several holes didn't line up on one, and on both the legs were so unstable that the tables were unusable. I don't know if it's the screws they provided or something else, but even when I tightened everything the panels were still loose. No idea what I'm gonna do with these now. Maybe recycle the wood somewhere? Anyway, skip on this one.

The screws used for assembling are Allen head. They provide a small Allen wrench, but the tension made screwing in very difficult and time consuming. Two of the heads stripped and I was never able to get the fully tightened. As a result the legs wobbled. After assembly the table never say level.

Not worth it

Looks nice from a distance but poorly finished and many minor dings. Poor design means you are trying to screw from one hole only to hit a screw in the other direction. A bear to put together (and I’ve done dozens of similar products). Had to use pliers to turn the Allen wrench because the wood is so hard. Once assembled, very wobbly so I have it against an arm chair to stabilize it. The drawer bottom is fiberboard not cardboard as another review claimed. I would have been better off getting something at a thrift store if they were open.

Nice Night Stand

Nice white night stand if you don't want to spend too much. The installation took some time. The drawers didn't go in properly and thought it was a defect at first but all it needed was to adjust the screws on the legs. The drawers does not have tracks, so it makes alot of noise and doesn't slide smoothly. It was alot better when I tried rubbing wax onto the wood. Also, the paint looks like only one layer. Maybe good for repainting to another color of your choice. Otherwise, it is quite sturdy and nice design. I like the bottom shelf where I can charge my phone without having to drill a hole.

NOT WHAT IT SEEMS

Quality. Very poor. Wood seems heavy enough but the screws holding it together. Seemed to big for the holes that they were suppose to go into. Very hard to get them in all the way. It only had a small Allen Wrench. One screw came almost stripped. I think it was returned by someone else for this reason prior to me ordering and receiving it. I got someone elses problem. I also didin't like the drawer stopper. which was just a peg inserted underneath the front of the top shelf. That is something that can give or break of constant use the drawer. Poor design. after I struggled trying to put in the screws as far as they would go it was wobbly and flimsy. I returned and didn't want to chance another return problem item given to me again so I didn't reorder.

Pretty decent nightstand for the price. It took me a while to assemble it as some of the parts didn't seem to adjust properly. The drawer is the main issue I have with it. It doesn't come with a glider to stabilize it when you pull it out. Instead, a very small piece of wood is inserted inside the top edge of the drawer to keep it from falling out all the way when you pull it out. Pretty cheap design on that part. Also, the table does wobble a bit, which is not a big deal to me. It does have a smooth finish and holds up quite well. It's a nice table overall, but next time I'll invest in something better.

Good quality, easy to assemble

I ordered 2. These are excellent little nightstands. They work very well for low profile beds. Assembly was a breeze. The instructions show images that are easy to follow and make logical sense once you look at all the pieces and envision the final product. It took just a little over 20 min to put the first one together and was faster the second time around. The drawers glide well. Overall it's a pretty solid product that looks great, works well, and seems sturdy for its purpose.

Walmart changed my order, substituted diff color

Walmart sold this nightstand either individually or as a 2-pack. Since I needed two for a guest room, I chose the 2-pack and chose the Walnut color. However, when we picked up our order, one table was in its original flat box with the brand and color visible; the other was concealed inside a huge Walmart box (color and item not visible). We thought that was strange.

Holes drilled wrong! Ugh!

Didn’t expect a lot for $48 including delivery but it looked nice. Everything went fine during assembly, except for one area where the holes were drilled incorrectly. Had to get out the drill and make another hole, hoping it wouldn’t be too close to the predrilled hole. Finally got that done and tried to put the drawer in. I listened to the other reviewers and did not use the drawer stops. The drawer sticks at the back somehow and you basically have to slam it to get it to close all the way. Luckily this is for a guest room and shouldn’t get a lot of slamming, if it does I doubt it’ll last very long. Looks nice for now. But it’s one in many that are drilled correctly and have all the right pieces. Very exasperating to where we will barely order this overseas stuff online or purchase in store :(

exceptional nightstands for the money

I bought these nightstands in the oak finish 3 years ago for a furnished apt I rent out and they have held up amazingly well. So 2 years ago I bought them in white and they still look great. So when I had a third bedroom to do, it was a no brainer.

Looks just like the picture . . .

. . . and the unit came VERY well packaged, no damage; I made sure to look at the instructions first and group the screws; after that it was easy to assemble; the unit does not have the usual metal tracks for the drawer to slide in & out on but rather slides on wooden rails which still works good; a dowel serves as a stop so one does not accidently pull the drawer out completely; you need a Phillips screwdriver for assembly;

Good tables, but lighter color than expected

I bought 2 of these to use as end tables in my living room, I love the drawer for storage and the shelf underneath. They were easy to put together, it would help if you have a drill with an allen drill bit but I managed fine with the allen key that was included in the packaging and a phillips screwdriver. A lot of people have posted in other reviews that the drawer does not close all the way if you use the stopper/dowel that's meant to keep it from coming completely out, but mine both close fine with the stopper in place. My only complaint and reason for not giving 5 stars is the color - I ordered dark walnut to match the rest of my furniture but it is significantly lighter than what is shown online, the boxes actually list the color as just walnut not dark walnut. The actual color is closer to halfway between the dark walnut and natural options they list here, see attached picture. Otherwise a solid good product.

I would recommend with caveats

I ordered two of these for my office in Walnut. The finish is very red, particularly under the fluorescent lights. The veneer is also very cheap looking. They were difficult to put together: the holes for the longer screws were not drilled quite wide enough: 1/4" I think. I had to redrill with 3/8" bit and it was still very stiff to wind but at least I didn't strip the hex screws. The first took an hour, the second half that because I knew what to do. Not really pleased with the color. I think I would've gotten black had I realized. Drawer works with peg. Even the drawer pull was stiff and a pain to install.

Screws won't tighten to hold the table top

The description says its solid beech wood, not all the pieces are solid wood. The main pieces- top, lower shelve, drawer are not solid wood. The legs and the 2 Apron pieces that get screwed on the bottom into the top might be the solid beech wood. The rest must be MDF. I got 2 of these tables. The design is very nice and the size is perfect for either a nightstand or a side table. The dark walnut color is beautiful and the same as the picture. Unfortunately when I go to screw in the 2 Apron pieces into the bottom of the top (see picture) the screws keep spinning without tightening. I tried both table tops and I had the same issue. I guess because of the top being MDF the screws are not grabbing into the predrilled holes. In my opinion this is the most important part since we all pick up and move the tables from the top. Over time this would get really loose and definitely would come off. The predrilled holes should have those special bolts in to hold and lock together when the screws go in. I'm not a carpenter but I assembled lots of furniture pieces for my house. I can't replace the screws with longer ones because they will come out on the other side which is the table top. I am returning the tables to the store. The box comes with a form to request FREE PARTS REPLACEMENT. Unfortunately all the tables are manufactured with the same predrilled holes problem and I have no missing parts.
