I ordered one corbel in red oak and used it to support a small marble shelf. When I ordered, I figured I would stain it to match my floorboards, but the natural wood is so beautiful I've decided to leave it as-is. I love that these corbels come in a variety of sizes. This is my second purchase from Ekena Millwork and I highly recommend this product.

Very satisfied. Anyone looking for a moderately priced corbel to support a 12"+ countertop overhang should consider this one.

Serving bar corbels

Loved the style, size and wood(maple), but there were a few dents here and there. Fortunately, with a little paint and careful placement, these are really noticeable to most eyes. These were put under our new serving bar with trim molding between corbels...looks great!

Very nicely-made. Totally surprised to receive only one, as I expected a pair for that price. My mistake for not reading the description carefully. In my opinion, $11.22 is quite pricey for one small wooden shelf bracket! Will be returning it!

Well made, good selection of sizes

We remodeled our kitchen. We had our granite counter top made six inches longer at each end to hang over the cabinets to give us a little more counter space. We wanted a little support for this extra overhang . ( The typical overhang for counter top is 1 - 2 inches) It was hard to find a bracket that was small enough and we wanted something very simple. These were perfect. and just the right size. We ordered the red oak. Very well made.

These are really nice. Smooth and ready to finish, as advertised, though I will probably go over with a fine grit sandpaper anyhow. Much more attractive option than the wood corbels available locally to me through the big box hardware stores.

Perfect finishing touch

Was the perfect finishing touch to support a walnut drink rail. I used finish trim screws to attach to the wall and to the drink rail.The routing and sanding were very nice and only a light sand was required before installation.I had a little problem with the order where one of three brackets was different than the others, but the seller was able to make it right.

Not good consistency

Bought a pair of these and the consistency is not very good. I understand a wood product will have differences but the curvature cut was not the same radius, one was made of 2 pieces glued together with a rough edge and the other was of 6 pieces glued together with a smooth edge. Also, the anchor bracket on the back was at a different depth and had different screws. Overall product was ok but if looking for a close match the quality control isn?t there.

Although this was not one solid piece of wood but rather glued together pieces which were then cut into this shape, it still was very nice and looked beautiful in the end. It was decorative corbels i used for a walnut slab mantle i made for my daughter fireplace.

Top-flight product, sturdy and handsome

We bought two sets of brackets for interior book shelves. Both arrived promptly, are sturdy and easy to install. One set is elegantly edged and looks beautiful; it gives the room a classy touch. The second set is plain and thick; as a display shelf, it’s a bit too massive. It’s hefty enough to support a beam, where it’d look great. Alas, the design choice was mine.. So the products are first-rate. Just think carefully about how you intend to use them.

Clarksville Bracket Review

I purchased 3 Clarksville Red Oak Brackets to finish the mantle of a fireplace that I remodeled. The brackets were of very fine quality and the finished product turned out great! I have had many complements on the fireplace in the dining room (1 of 8 that are in our home). I would highly recommend this product. It is of fine workmanship and was exactly what we were looking for.

Brackets for granite countertop support

We purchased three of these rubberwood brackets for our new home. They are beautifully formed and we stained them to match the stained columns in the front and back of our house, but we could have painted them if we had chosen to. They look beautiful and we are very happy with them! One of them does not quite mesh up with the countertop, but it is still supporting the countertop. The customer service we received from this company was outstanding! We were in a hurry and the guidance we received was so appreciated! Then they actually came early :)

Precisely made

I was very pleased with my purchase. It arrived sooner than I expected and I really like the quality of the product. The site is now bookmarked in my Home Improvement folder and I know I'll be back again. Their array of products is pretty impressive, and offered items I wasn't going to find at the usual stops. This was just a modest purchase: a couple of corbel brackets for a window treatment I'm planning. But they're precisely made, complete with mounting hardware attached and I'm really looking forward to staining and hanging them. Next time I'm looking for the perfect pieces to create an effect, I think I'll go here first, rather than stumbling into them at the end of a tiresome and increasingly fruitless search. What a time-saver THAT's going to be!
