Well-made and easy to use

I was skeptical about these frames at first, but when I received the order and started inserting my images, I saw that these frames are well-made and easy to assemble. They come apart really easily and you can insert the photo without a problem. There are places to hang them either horizontal or vertical. I like them so much I just ordered ten more.

I keep buying this product again and again!

Easy to mount

This is a frame with everything pre-installed including the matte and a keyhole for the hook to mount the frame perfectly centered. Reasonably priced. And B&H Photo delivered in 2 days with ample amount of bubble wrap to ensure the glass was not broken!

Looks okay but worst packaging

I bought 24 of these frames and it arrived in a flimsy box. It’s not even protected at the bottom where most of the impact is and 9 of my frames were shattered. At least I was reimbursed quickly (thanks) but I don’t know if I could trust buying bigger shipments if it arrives only in a few pieces of kraft paper without any padding on the bottom or a better box.

I would buy this product again

Your basic frame, but a decent price for what you get. Just be sure not to buy a thick mat for your painting since the front loading cover glass is held in place by barely overlapping plastic flanges. If the mat is thick, it is hard (or impossible) to get the glass back into place.

This is a quality inexpensive frame suitable for student work, digital prints or just a sleek look. Simple for artwork or posting that needs to be changed out. Holds a sheet of art paper, but cannot accommodate any thicker substrates beyond heavy card stock. Keyhole openings on back will fit hooks on hanging system, unlike sawtooth. #sweepstakes

PERFECT FOR FRAMING GIFTS

These work perfectly for me.... I need a very thin frame so that the drawing isn't covered up on any edges. I have purchased about 20+ of these so I can give gifts of small, special, original drawings without spending a lot for frames or postage! I also have groups of drawings on my walls. FANTASTIC

Great Deal

I prefer to use the inexpensive MCS frames for my photo studies. Before using Blick I purchased them in bulk from other sources but due to poor packaging 4 of 16 frames arrived with broken frames or glass. On the other hand my recent order from Blick was very well packaged and all 10 of the frames in my order were undamaged... all for close to the same price. Turned out to be a better deal!

The perfect quality, simple frames

I bought these frames for three small poem posters - I didn't want to see the frame so much as the content. These frames are perfect - very simple, minimally visible, yet sturdy and good quality.

I love these frames. They are easy to use and just the right size for my paintings.

Corner edges of glass broke

I bought the frames from the store to frame few prints. Unfortunately the glass edges on both 16x20 frames I bought are broken. There is also a hairline scratch on one of them. I'm not sure if I bought the frame with the small scratch and broken edges or if it happened when I was inserting the print. I wish I read the reviews before purchasing. The glass still sits in the frame, I'm just a little nervous about hanging them in case the glass falls and breaks. The frames are affordable though, so I wanted to give framing it myself a try. Just know that there is a risk the glass edges will break/come broken. Other than the glass breaking, the frames do look very simple and elegant!
