Not impressed

We bought Hon and Lorell desks for our company. They work great. Durable and priced as values in my mind. The Sauder Executive Desk I purchased, I assumed would be of equal quality. It is not. Since all three brands mentioned all use particle board, the veneers really make or break the desk. The Sauder desk has very thin edge veneers. They look like they will not have the durability of the Hon and Lorell pieces we already own. Time will tell, but at the moment I wished I just stayed with the Hon or Lorell.

I would buy this product again, and I did, three in total.

Originally ordered one for my home office. Loved it so much that I ordered two for our new business office. Spacious, sturdy and easy to assemble (ok, well it was for my husband!).

screw hole machined crooked

The screw hole on the front part of the desk was crooked, and when we tighten the screws down and cracked the laminate

So much space to spread out and do work!! I have a landscape company so I always have a bunch of different papers and files on the desk along with 3 monitors, a printer, and a bunch of office supplies on it as well.

I would buy it again!

Great desk!

Outstanding desk...

I had been wanting this desk for the longest time and saw the price so had to make the purchase. I am so glad I did!! Working from home indefinitely I knew I needed to upgrade my home office setup. This desk is phenomenal. First, the packaging and delivery were outstanding. The outer box had several layers of cardboard along the edges so nothing was damaged in transit. Assembly for this desk is very straight forward and extremely easy. I put it together myself in half an hour but I would suggest two people to move it during assembly as it does need to be flipped upside down and having someone hold the panels in place may be a good idea so they don't move and bend a screw. Lastly the desk itself is huge!! I now have more work area than I know what to do with. I love the finish of the black oak and this desk is solid. It weighs over 160 lbs so it is very sturdy. I'm looking forward to acquiring the rest of the collection to finish my office. I highly recommend this desk collection.

nice desk

It's extremely heavy. As in 175 pounds heavy so it's a miracle that it arrived with only minor damage in the corner. The packaging is pretty good. It's also made in the USA which is great. Overall, it looks really sharp and larger than expected.

Very good looking and sturdy

Easy assembly, excellent quality for the price and no buyer's remorse. Completely satisfied.

Love this desk, but really hard to keep top clean!!!

I mostly love the desk. It looks great and seems to be built well. The main negative comment I have is that the top is so super shiny that if you even look at it funny it shows fingerprints! I am constantly wiping it down. Would have been better with a more satin finish, like the drawer fronts that we ordered with it.

Difficult to assemble

It's a beautiful desk. That said, beware that it is HEAVY, and assembly is not easy. The included "twist-lock fasteners" are flimsy plastic and ill-equipped to hold the desk together on their own. STEP 5 on the assembly instructions requires an impossible feat of physics that ends up making "twist-locks" rip out and damage the particle board. Ultimately we used 16 metal corner braces (not included) to hold the desk together.

Lack of Drawers with Desk Purchase

I purchased this Desk and had it delivered to my other office in LaPorte IN. Basically I made the purchase from the picture and description I saw on screen from the website. It's a beautiful desk, very sturdy indeed. The only issue I have is that after it was put together it was seen to not have any drawers. When going back to the picture, all I could see was a front shot, nothing on how the back looks. There seems to be areas on the inside where drawers, including the pencil drawer, could go. I feel that your picture and the description could have been more explicit in the fact that NO DRAWERS ARE INCLUDED. For other items I have looked at on your website, different views are available to see all sides of an item. Not Here. Very disappointed.

Executive looking desk

I purchased (4) pieces of this collection, desk, extension, Credenza, and the hutch. The desk is very well built I enjoyed the new style pins that lock everything in. It is very easy to build and with to people you can flip it upright and put it into place. All items make my office look very professional.

GORGEOUS!

I have no idea what the other reviewer did wrong...this desk is BEAUTIFUL! I am a 110 lb girl and put it together by myself, however needed two big guys to move it for me. It is HEAVY, which means it is extremely sturdy. And wow wow wow the compliments I am receiving..this whole collection is just BEAUTIFUL!

Worst Product I have ever ordered!

The top of the desk is too heavy for the VERY cheap material the bottom is made of. The items provided to put the base together are not strong enough to hold the top. This table literally broke the second it was turned over after assembly.
