My son-in-law just assembled it

My son-in-law just assembled it this past weekend. It was difficult in the beginning to get the slats in the slots for the bottom of each bed. But the finished product looks great! I am very pleased!

We two 80year-olds had fun

We two 80year-olds had fun assembling the numerous pieces. Took us 6 hours in the first one, 3 on the second. We are pleased with the quality of the wood and - once we got it- the instructions were fairly simple. Wish we didn’t have all those little number stickers, though.

Terrible customer service!

I’ve reached out several times and have basically been told that what I think is a problem, is not a problem! I’ve been asking for a new piece of headboard slat because one of ours is bowed. Still have not received. I have also voiced complaints that our top bunk is bending in places that it shouldn’t when weight is applied. I’ve been told that that is not where the bending should be occurring and therefore I’m wrong???? My husband and I are concerned because we feel we got a defective bed and there is bending in places a bed shouldn’t be bending and so therefore something is wrong with it and it is not safe to be using! They keep arguing with me and telling me I have no need for a warranty claim…still waiting to be helped as I type! Not to mention, you can’t get a hold of anyone on the phone. All you can do is email. So frustrating! Would not recommend.

Great Bunk Beds!

We are thrilled with these bunk beds! The package arrived quickly and all pieces were clearly marked. The directions were clear and thorough (including outlining the options for the ladder on either end) and the quality seems to be great! Our two kiddos have now slept in the bunk beds for a few nights and are loving the addition to their room!

White Bunk Beds

The packaging was excellent and not too much to dispose of. We have the white version and the paint job is done well for the most part. All the pieces are numbered and were there, except 3 screws short at the very end. Instructions were clear and detailed and all the holes lined up; putting the bed together was pretty frustration-free. We are a couple in our 70’s and not extremely handy and we managed well, even able to put the top bed on with the 2 of us. It all seems solid. We did use a drill, which helped with screws. We would order from you again.

Exactly as advertised

My kids really enjoy the bed. Nice and solid construction. Instructions were fairly easy and simple to understand. Assembly wasn't hard, my daughter and I put it together in about 2.5 hrs. The look of the bed was exactly as shown in the pictures. Would of given a 5 star review but some of the frame had some dents, most likely from shipping.

Wonderful bed

We bought this for our 10 year old granddaughter. We were skeptical of finding a nice and sturdy bed for a child this old and especially knowing sleepovers would be happening soon! After searching on line for several weeks I found Plank Beam. I couldn’t believe the price for what appeared to be a substantial and well made bed. In addition I was super impressed to learn it was made in South Carolina USA. All these factors combined with an excellent price just sounded too good to be true. The bed shipped fast via Fed Ex. The shipping communication was excellent. My husband put it together easily (a couple hours). He said it was very well made. She loves the bed! It is very pretty and very nice. I would highly recommend.

Bunk Beds

Purchased these full over full bunk beds for Christmas. Great quality, beautiful color, and very simple and easy to put together. I love the fact that when my girls get bigger, we can separate and have two beds as well.

I love this bed. It

I love this bed. It is very beautiful and well made. It was delivered in one large and very heavy box. Some parts took a little extra patience to assemble, but overall the instructions were simple to follow. I am fairly certain it will have to be particularly disassembled, both levels, to move it out of a room. It definitely takes two people to assemble. The opening to the steps down is a bit narrow. The very bottom step is so close to the previous step that it is easy to forget to use it, making for a longer step down, which can feel awkward. Overall, it is sturdy and the space under the bed is great for storage. It looks nice in both an adult bedroom or a young person’s. I am thrilled with this purchase.

This bed is exactly as pictured. The directions are clear. Assemble with two people, read the directions carefully and you will find success. This is a sturdy piece of furniture that is well made and will last a long time.

Highly Recommend!

We are very pleased with this bed. It’s so well made and well finished. The kids are ecstatic and love it! Assembly was very smooth as well. We would highly recommend it! We also got the 8” memory foam mattresses for it and they’re fabulous as well!

We purchased two of this style in Pecan. They are truly excellent. Solid wood, sturdy, easy to put together, great price and gorgeous. The ladder makes it easy to get in and out of the top bunk. Very happy with our purchase!

Good bunk bed

The bed is solid wood as advertised. The construction instructions were easy to follow, however the steps were numerous. It was not hard but it was time consuming. I would recommend for anyone looking for well priced, quality option for kids furniture.

Exceeded my expectations

I don't normally take the trouble to submit a review, but I was really impressed by the quality of the bunk beds. I got the Pecan color, and the wood was dyed beautifully and evenly with no bad odor. All the holes were drilled perfectly so everything lined up when assembling -- no gaps. It did take a few hours to put together, but the assembly instructions were easy to follow. Seems like a high-quality, sturdy piece of furniture.

Redid my daughter’s room

I got the classic twin over twin bunk, two classic 6 drawer dressers, and the desk. I couldn’t be more pleased. The dresser drawer bottoms are solid wood and the drawers are deep enough to actually hold clothes not just when they’re 6 and 8 years old but also the rest of their childhood. The bunk bed is sturdy and simple and stylish. It took an entire day for my boyfriend and I to assemble all 4 pieces of furniture with little trouble. We watched a whole season of How I Met Your Mother and just went for it! Thanks for great solid wood affordable furniture!

Decent quality. Flexible design. Easy to assemble.

Better quality than many comparable bed frames I compared. Pine wood is softer than I would have hoped for as dents, chips, splinters do show easily in the wood members. Well laid out instructions highlighted by each wooden member being individually numbered (stickers) matched to the printed instructions. Will require a second person to lift the upper bed frame into place though solid pins/rods help simplify the process and increase the rigidity of the finished bed frame.
