Cute stool

Got this for a guest bedroom. The wood color on line appears grey but the wood leans more yellow. I decided to paint it light grey, needed two coats. Looks cute. Didn't need to sand it. Sturdy, well constructed. Would buy again. No assembly needed.

Great stool! Very sturdy! Really put together. Dont think it will ever wobble. Has a great finish that can be painted or stained. Certainly worth every penny!! I'm impressed!!

A nice, very light weight stool. I was impressed that the entire stool is natural wood. I can imagine it would be beautiful stained. I may still decide to stain mine. I cannot see how anyone would be disappointed purchasing this stool.

Sturdy

Its beautiful and very sturdy. It arrives in one piece, so there's no assembly. I wanted something my son could sit on that wasn't going to fall apart, and most stools I looked at were pretty flimsy. This one will definitely hold up. I love it!

Purchased two of these for small front porch and stained them with a water resistant white deck stain. Three coats of white and then a coat of clear polyurethane. So many compliments for appearance and function. Awesome purchase.

Not my favorite.

Arrived in great condition/box undamaged despite large size. Two problems: it wobbles and a large blemish/wood glue clean up in the center of one of the support bars that is completely noticeable. I think any furniture type item should be level and not wobble. Disappointed in builder no 22 and inspected by no 7 as this should have been fixed or sold deeply discounted with noted issues - not at first hand price. Can't upload pics as says too large and I'm not willing to spend any more time.

My husband is 6'5" and 270 lbs. with knee & back problems. Whenever he tried to heft himself out of our kitchen chairs (with backs), he struggled. So, when I saw these, I thought they'd be perfect for him (and anyone else sitting at our round kitchen table)...and I was 100% correct. He can now sit & stand comfortably and no more struggling. I was able to buy seat cushions for each of the chairs and they're just so comfortable and "hide" really well under the table, which makes the room look bigger. We'd definitely recommend these sturdy little chairs...even "unfinished" they're really cute & practical! I'm just going to clear stain them because we like the way they look now.

Ordered two of these, and came pre-assembled. I decided to stain them to match the wood colored countertop they would be going underneath. Used Minwax Gel Stain, along with preconditioner and water based poly. Finished with a protective coat of SC Johnson Wax. Would recommend disassembling for stain

This little stool is quite sturdy for the price. I'm not a carpenter, or furniture expert, but it appears well made. It has a wonderful slightly rustic feel which comes from the slight depression in the seat and then angled legs. I'm planning on painting it red and putting it in the garden, but it's really lovely just the way it is, unfinished, but quite smoothly sanded. Though, if I were to leave it unfinished, I'd want to put some sort of oil on it to preserve the wood. Very happy with this purchase. And, as I've been reading about the number of paid product reviews lately, I want to say that this is one is completely authentic.

Good quality and is very sturdy. Product is well sanded although I followed up on it with 220 grit to help the stain be absorbed a little better. As far as the shipping it was well packed and quickly delivered. Overall rating excellent.

The stool is well made and looks great. The only issue I had is that it didn’t take stain evenly. I had sanded it used a stain I have used before. Not sure why I had a issue with the stain. Regardless I wanted a light stain color so I ended up just using 3 coats of top finish without any stain and the resulting color was fine for my decor.

My daughter needed a short, backless stool for her desk. I was thinking it would be completely unfinished, raw wood, but it has a sheen to it. Very smooth and I don't feel like we need to paint it. Came in one piece, which is somewhat shocking nowadays. No assembly required! She reports it is very comfy.

Great quality at an amazing price

I love this stool, but I wouldn't call it a "dining stool" (it's only 18" high) unless you have a very low table or counter. However, it is excellent quality, very sturdy, well constructed, and gorgeous smooth wood, ready for staining or painting. No assembly required. It's got beautiful lines that could fit in well with many types of decor. I couldn't be happier, especially at the price!

These stools are perfect for my kitchen & dining room when company comes over. They are strudy enough to stand on....I even use them to reach things in my cabinets on the top shelves....excellent investment. I haven't stained them yet. That is next!

Exactly What I Needed

I needed a stool for a small space for sitting on for putting on shoes. I had specs - wood and well constructed and not too expensive. After looking all over the internet as a last thought I found this stool at Target. The stool was delivered quickly without damage. The stool is a perfect fit and well constructed and finished (sanded w/o stain). The price is amazingly affordable. I now have to decide how to finish.
