We like these chairs. They look great and are comfortable, but on the first order of 6, had to return 2 because there were defects in the wood. (Return was very easy at least.) The 2nd order of 2, still had some defects, but we kept them. They are a bit pricy for the quality, but an upgrade from what we previously had.

Purchased four to use every day. Chairs came two to a box, stacked with seats together. They were packaged decently and no ncks in finish. Seats came in separate box and attached easily. Nice dark brown with a hint of red color. Only gripe is seats are made of plywood as stated, however, there is no edging/veneer on seat edges. You do see the plywood layers if looking at chairs from the side. Stain colors wood differently so you will see light and dark layers. My kitchen isn't filled with light so my guests may not ever notice. Ends of legs are hard plastic. Stuck felt pads on ends of legs to prevent damage to floor.
