I found this system very easy to install, and am very pleased with the final appearance. It is an inexpensive upgrade. Just follow the instructions, and make your scores deep prior to breaking the pieces. The combination of double sided tape pieces and #700 Liquid Nails makes a lot of sense. The tape pieces hold the strips in place until the liquid nails dries completely. A couple of suggestions: Place a small dab of Liquid Nails about 3/4" inside each corner to make the strips adhere flatly to the mirror. Also, make sure that the white Liquid Nails does not squeeze to the outside edge where it would be visible. Only small dabs of Liquid Nails are needed.

This trim worked perfectly and was super easy to install! I had some spots along the bottom of my mirror that had darkened and looked super ugly. The trims totally covered it and actually has a really nice look to it. I was also skeptical about how easy it would be to “cut” the directions said just score and snap it. They were right, and it made a clean edge! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful upgrade to a standard builder mirror! I purchased two kits for two different size mirrors. We used a saw to make the cuts and installation was a breeze! I have sent the Product link to everyone who has used my guest bathroom

In hindsight, I wish that the Home Depot sight would have identified brown diamond connectors as Cherry or oak. With light colored walls behind the mirror, the darker frame would have given the project a sharper effect. I loved the look at my house, so I did all the mirrors at my mother's house as an additional Christmas present surprise. I noticed in other reviews that some had stated that the double-sided tape that comes with the kit fails when bathroom is steamy. Thus, I used a combination of the tape and the suggested glue (LN-700 {Liquid Nails}). Use small dabs not lines between the double-sided tape. A little bit goes a long way... I would do it again and would recommend it to anyone with a basic mirror in the house.
