I need a secure container for cat food. This has nice features, but unfortunately is cheaply made. Air tight is achieved by a squishy styrofoam seal, which makes the open hinges seem like they will pop out or break off when pressure is applied to close the snap lid, which is rather flimsy as well.

Easy to move and easy to use.

It closes tightly, which is important, especially if you have a food hound who goes hunting in the house. It’s lightweight and moves easily. The hinged opening top is large enough to comfortably put a scoop into and it’s easy to see from the outside how much food is left. I wish I’d gotten one years ago.

Bought 2 of the same petfood containers. One seemed fine, the other, the lid was bent, did not stay attached so there was no airtight seal. I'm sure it wouldn't be long before the other container did the same thing. Would not recommend.

Storage containers for dog food

George containers are nice. I’m very pleased with them other than one big problem they will not stack one on top of the other. The lid does not corns spawn to the bottom of the container which makes it really uneasy because they fall over when touched if you don’t grab a hold of them firmly, this is design that I think should be looked into because you would save a lot of people a lot of hassle like myself but all in all the container itself is good it’s just that are not stackable

You get what you pay for

This was purchased for a 5 pound bag of cat food ... call me crazy but I like to keep the food in the bag as I shove it into the container, we have 3 different types of cat food given to the two feline members of the family so that helps me easily identify which food is which.
