Very helpful for schlepping files around, and when I take work to the lake. The top “shelf” with space for stationery is a great help & convenience.

It's the perfect size for carrying hanging file folders to my meetings. It has the flexibility to work with Letter and Legal sizes, which is important because some files come in the different sizes from one meeting to another.

Waste of time and money

If I could give it a zero I would. Got the box home and put in 10 empty hanging files, closed it and lifted it to move it and the back part of the lid came apart from it's clasp and could not be fixed.

This is a sturdy and roomy file box. My previous one was made of cardboard and prone to collapse, spilling it’s contents.

This thing has some details (storage compartments in the lid for paper clips and whatnot) that I don't need, but it was as big on the inside as the official measurements. (The last box I bought was *not* and nothing I wanted to store fit. I appreciate Staples staff for answering this question before I bought this box.) The box is lightweight but strong and works well for my needs of filing oversize paper.
