Great kettle

Absolutely love this kettle. For gas stoves it needs to be slightly off center or a low heat to keep the handle of the lid handle from melting, but it's a minor issue for me.

This kettle works well for me because I prefer to have a kettle I can see through. The style fits perfectly on my stove.

does not last very long.it gets burnt,turns color.you can not scrub it..but its ok had many of them.lol

Using to make Yerbe Mate in refrig. I love the shape, how it feels in my hands. The lid is a bit cumbersome as must remove to pour. I tried on my electric range using the wire heat disperser and didn’t feel totally okay with the way it sat on the burner. So, I decided to use it for cold tea, put Yerba mate in cold water in fridge and also when made this way, less bitterness from teas. The whistle I wouldn’t depend on from another room but a cool feature. I originally bought it to boil water for my French press to make coffee. Because right now I’m just boiling it in a stainless steel pan. And it tends to get all over the place. I may try buying another one and using it for this purpose only because I think it’s healthier to boil hot water in this, type of glass versus the stainless that I’m using, which probably has all kinds of heavy metals.

Great kettle that heats up water fast. Can use on gas or electric stoves. I highly recommend getting one.
