They're great until they start cracking.

I purchased a 22 piece set off of Amazon less than 1.5 years ago. I love that they have a good seal, and are clear, so it's easy to see the contents. Unfortunately, the size I use most frequently, the 300ml containers have started to crack on the sides and bottoms. I have three cracked ones now that I've held onto in case I have something dry to store in the fridge. Given the price, I'm very disappointed.

Great design, material, and durability

These are made of BPA free tritan plastic, which is safer than the older, cheaper types of plastic. The square-cornered, straight-sided design makes the best use of refrigerator space, and the sizes stack on top of each other efficiently inside the fridge. The containers nest well for storage, though they do stick to one another somewhat, and we group the lids together in an adjoining space. The lids and gaskets provide for a tight seal with excess air pressed out of the container. After several weeks of regular use, the containers still come out of the dishwasher in great shape. They'd be perfect if they were only a little less expensive!

These are Awesome!

This is my second purchase of this type of storage container. The audible double click when closing one gives peace of mind that your items are truly sealed. I have used them confidently for storing foods in the freezer, the refrigerator and at room temperature. I have also successfully rewarmed stored food in the microwave. The clear, see-through plastic has not shown any signs of clouding, making it easy to tell what is inside. The containers also have done well in the dishwasher.

They're not that great...

I purchased this due to functionality. However, this doesn't hit all the marks. Brilliance in concept but not so much in execution. The cons are that the lids are hard to remove, and they are pricey. These containers scratch like crazy when washing with light scrub sponge. Durability is questionable. The pros, they don't stain or leak. Rubbermaid a huge brand, should have put this product into extensive testing before putting it on store shelves.

Great for Flour

Excellent for keeping flours and other powdery ingredients fresh. I’ve had problems with other airtight containers with buttons that “seal” it, where the flour or powder makes it so they won’t seal. These don’t have that issue on account of the clasps. It is a bit of an annoyance to clean the rubber lip of the seal, but it’s better than having to completely deconstruct the OXO Pop container lids.

Warranty voided if microwaved more than 30 seconds

I bought these and the smaller containers a few months ago. I was warming up a baked potato for a minute or 2 and it melted and cracked. I also had a second one that cracked when I warmed up a small piece of steak. When I contacted the company to get replacements under their lifetime warranty, they said that they would not warranty these because food is considered cooked after 30 seconds and the containers should never be in the microwave longer. I guess after 30 seconds I am supposed to transfer my food to my Tupperware containers and finish heating them until the food is hot. If you do decide to buy these, make sure you tell them you only cooked the food for 30 seconds.
