Does not fit Panasonic loaf

This bread keeper does not fit the loaf from my Panasonic bread maker Ok as a normal bread keeper I suppose but not what I wanted.

Good quality, however have to squeeze my bread maker bread in due to height restriction. Only need an extra 5mm of height to be perfect.

Bread Keeper

I purchased this item recently. I have only used it once. It kept my bread reasonably fresh. Easy to use and wash up. Having a chopping board on it is also useful. I did hope the crust of the bread would still be crunchy but it wasn't unfortunately. The bread stayed fresh for a week. This is my first bread storage container so I have nothing to compare it with., but I would recommend this product as its at a reasonable price.

Just what I needed. Product is exactly as pictured. Kept my bread fresh for longer than I have had in the past. I do like that the size changes as the bread is used. The only thing is that the outside piece is becomes dry and stale. This is better than I would normally have though :)

Best Purchase for Bread Ever

Bought this a few weeks ago and it is amazing. My homemade loaves of bread stay fresh and soft to cut for easily twice or more than normal.

Does not turn the tables on bread keeping unfortunately. Did not extend the freshness or time until mouldy for my homemade breads. Very disappointing and expensive piece of plastic that takes up a very large area on my bench. Nice quality is about the best I can say. regretful purchase.

Not what I thought

Unfortunately, this is not what I thought it was going to be, I do not enjoy the design of this, it's very messy, not sure how fresh it will keep the bread, it comes apart easy! Not great for the kids to use! The magnet is not strong enough and keeps coming undone and my bread (store brought) does not fit! I'll be sending back!

Keeps homemade bread fresh for days

Worked really well at preventing my homemade bread from going stale. Kept my bread fresh for three days. I can’t comment on the effectiveness after that because we ate it within three days. Normally, if left out, the bread will go stale within hours.

Simplicity at it’s beat!

Simple design. Works so well for my home baked bread. It expands to handle any size. Love the feature to let air in while it cools, and close the handle after to keep it fresh. The built in cutting board atea is an added bonus! Love it!

Keeps my bread contained and easy to get to!

I love this. It exactly fits my homemade bread, and gets smaller as we eat down the loaf - no wasted kitchen counter space. The magnet keeps it closed easily. Random things get put on top (by a certain other family member)... and it doesn't create a problem to get the bread out, the way it was with the old expandable breadbox (without the cutting-board end opening). It's been easy to rinse out when the loaf is done.

The answer to the most important question is YES, my bread stays good in it.

I like the look of it. It came without any breakage. It's slightly larger than I envisioned. It seems to be holding my bread well.

Love this for my homemade bread.

This is great because it has a handle to open for air vents or close for less air flow. The attached door/cutting board is very useful. No more getting out a second cutting board. This one has marks for straight slices too.

Versatile, practical and well designed.

Love it! So versatile. Perfect for a small kitchen and not taking up a lot of counter space. It holds lots of bread pieces and baked goods, or a little. Just slide it in. Cutting board, vent holes...very well engineered and looks great in my kitchen.

Excellent product

Just the thing for the homemade bread maker. Keeps your bread fresher and the opening flap acts as a breadboard, saving space on the worktop when slicing your bread. Can definitely recommend this product, I bought two, one for white bread and one for whole meal.

Good idea - but needs a little more improvement. The drop down side is also a cutting board, but it is almost impossible to properly hold the bread when it is almost completely inside the box and even turning the cutting knife to the other side does not really solve this problem. However the expanding container and easy open air vent are useful functions.

My final analysis is: Not recommended.

For: Sturdy construction and easy to clean. Against: The separate components do not stay together as they are very loose. Half a loaf maybe is OK but for a full loaf, don't bother. The gap between the pieces is too great and as such is not a good fit and definitely not airtight. We do our own baking and so the loaves are bigger that the commercial ones. See attached images.
