It is beautiful
The jar arrived with a manufacturer defect. It doesn’t close completely, causing the top to be wobbly. It is disappointing that Wayfair sends defective items and then charges clients for return shipping. So I’m $5.5 bucks out of pocket and no jar.

Godinger's Quality & Shipping Diminishing
Don't purchase Godinger from Macys! The candy dishes were delivered in damaged packages.I returned them, afraid of unseen cracks. Several other Godinger purchases arrived in damaged packages . A Godinger beverage dispenser arrived in a wet and damaged BAG. When opened the beverage dispenser looked returned/used or a display. It cloudy looking with small spots in the glass. A metal bar also fell from near the faucet when the plastic was unwrapped from the dispenser. Macy's would not issue a return. I had been ill and didn't open it until 34 days after the delivery. They never responded to my email requests.
Thin Damaged Packing Bag & Damaged Container Box
The 2 candy dishes arrived in a soiled, "butchered" bag with very thin foam wrapping. The box of the candy dish on top is bent and damaged. Therefore, I will return both boxes of dishes.

It came in a Manila envelope. So, as you can imagine, it was broken. It is not sent by Macys, the company send it to you. No common sense at all. Who put a piece of glass in a Manila envelope???

Godinger Candy Dish
This candy dish is so pretty and just the right size to hold a bag of candy. I am impressed with the quality of this dish how the light seems to make it sparkle and shine.

This dish is very elegant, and became a gift for a friend who enjoyed it so much! I did fill it with chocolates, (not Hershey's kisses) then I felt deprived of this candy bowl so I ordered another for me, which I won't be giving it away anytime soon!
the red comes off
Hand washed it. Set it out with candy for a while and the second time I hand washed it with a soft sponge the color came off the bottom. It’s still use able. Just be aware it isn’t red glass, it’s just coated with the color.
