Wish they were bigger

Brilliance can explode in the microwave.

We've had our Brilliance containers for quite a few years, so that we would stop using so many ziplock bags.But, today, while heating up some pasta in the glass Brilliance container in the microwave, right around the one minute mark, it literally exploded into a thousand pieces. Sorry to say, but we won't be purchasing more Rubbermaid Brilliance containers.

I love these because I know what it is inside of them without having to open them up. I am also trying to limit ny food exposure to plastic so it's nice to have glass instead

I’ve had mine for more than a year, last , does well in microwave , washes easily , small perfect for lunch, and storage , doesn’t take much space. Lid easy to close and seals .

These storage containers are great. I love that they are dishwasher safe. I’ve been using these for a while now and will continue to use them. I was using plastic ones before and they just kept absorbing the taste of the dishwashing soap. These have not been a problem for me at all. Easy to clean and store away.

They’re a great option for storsge

A bit expensive, but I love storing in glass and the vents on the lids for microwave use work great

They crack, all of them.

These all cracked in less than 1 year of use. I wash them by hand. Customer servie replaced them, and was rather rude, telling me they changed their policy. Even after replacing, they still cracked.

These I own a ton of, I love the fact that they are glass for one, so no funky smells left over. They warm up great in the microwave and they cool down perfect when you are ready to staple them in the fridge!

I have been buying these for a few months. I keep buying to meet my freezer and refrigerator storage needs. I have every size at least 3 and 4 of each size. I have no problems with them. I love them. I will give any of these as a gift.

ALL CRACK UP

I BOUGHT A SET AND AFTER MICROWAVING TO HEAT UP SOME FOOD WITHIN A MOUTH THEY CRACK ON THE BOTTOM AND THE SIDES I QUESS THEY COULDNT HOLD UP TO THE MICROWAVE HEATING

I love these containers and use them for all of my kitchen needs. I have the storage ones for leftovers, label them for my big items, and have the tiny ones for salad dressing etc. they all fit in one another and most of them used the same lid!

We bought a set over a year ago and these are the best so far. Great seal, no leaks. Cleaning is easy. I dont have a lot of space in my cabinets they don’t take up a lot of space.

Dangerous, exploding Rubbermaid glass dish!

We bought two Rubbermaid glass dishes with lids (lids have plastic latches). Size is 8 cups, model 2N88 1-A. After removing the dish (no lid, as it's not oven safe) from a 375F oven for 30 mins, the glass dish exploded in my oven-mitted hand before I could set it down. Glass flew as far as 6 feet away. Thank goodness I moved my puppy away from the oven before I opened it and that none of the glass flew into my face or body. It was one of the scariest kitchen accidents, that I've ever had. These dishes should be recalled or re-classified as NOT OVEN SAFE.

We had these on our wedding registry 6 years ago still use them to this day! These are convenient to store, durable have a great airtight seal. They’re easy to clean - just throw them in the dish washer! None have stained from red sauce they don’t get any sort of odor to them, no matter what you store in them! These are hands down my favorite food storage containers.

Nice design on this. The top fits tightly like a vacuum. I’m so glad I got these, especially after the recent news about all the plastic leeching into our food from plastic packaging and containers.

Easily Broken Lids

We purchased these containers for leftovers and lunches, and found quickly that the lid has cracked. The glass is unaffected, but the cracked lid makes it's unusable and I have been unable to find replacement lids only to purchase. Disappointed in the quality of the product especially given the cost.

Explodes in microwave!!

If I could have given this no stars, I would have. My husband and I purchased the Rubbermaid Brilliance glass storage containers because we thought they would be more durable. I was reheating some food in the microwave with only a paper towel to keep food from splattering and not even a minute in, the glass container completely shattered!! Wow…is all that I can say!! I will never purchase this product ever again. I’m just thankful it didn’t explode after I opened the door!! Do better, Rubbermaid!!
