These bins are great but they ruin it with sticky labels

I absolutely love these bins and have used them for years. This last purchase had labels stuck to at least 2 sides, using sticky stuff that does not easily come off, even wth goo gone. They are clear for a reason, not to be littered with labels and sticky stuff that does not want to come off. After 1/2 hour on one bin, I'm ready to return them all.

Great Pantry Bin

Our pantry is small and the lack of organization was really getting to me. I bought a few bins to try to organize everything and this small bin was one of the few that was available at the time. This turned out to be the perfect size for organizing several small bags of lentils, basmati rice, arborio rice, soba noodles, etc., as well as a few boxes of spaghetti. Our pantry looks better (still have work to do) and it's easier to find stuff now. I'll be getting more of these bins to finish up the organization project.

Use Vegetable Oil To Remove Sticky Label Dots

I have an assortment of these bins in my kitchen, pantry, closets and bathrooms. I love them...but I don't love the sticky label residue on some of the bins. After much trial and error after purchasing my latest batch of these bins this week, I figured out how to remove the dots without using every curse word I know during the process. First, pour some kitchen oil (any kind) on the tacky sticker dots UNDER the label (do not tear or remove the label during this step), next let the oil absorb into the dots for 15-30 seconds, then slowly pull up the label, the sticker dots should mostly lift off with the label, but there will likely be a little residue remaining (add more oil in this step if the label isn't lifting with the dots). To remove any remaining residue, continue to rub the oil (you might have to add a little bit more) into the dots with your fingers and it will dissolve. Before washing the bins with soap and water to remove the oil, make sure there is no sticky label residue anywhere. If there is any residue remaining from the dots it will smudge when you are drying.
