Would not lie flat

The mat arrived warped, likely because it wasn't secured with straps, like the instructions say it's supposed to be. So it lost shape during shipping. I laid it out and let it flatten out for days but there are still hills and valleys. The edges are actually curved upward and I'm tripping over them. I ordered four and they were all like this. I just initiated a return. What a waste.

These chair mats are of average thickness & since they are flat / smooth on both sides they tend to move around, especially on an area rug. If they are on hard wood floors they stay put a little better.

Excellent for carpet

Good size for office and works very well on carpet. Unlike thin plastic mats, does not indent on carpet making it difficult roll your chair. We bought one and then a second.

Seems to be a good mat, the only negative is I originally had a completely clear one which finally just wore out after about 10 years and this one is not clear but a more slight milky but you can still see through it. Otherwise it is doing it’s job.

Got what I paid for, pretty decent so far. It's tough giving a review on this item because it's so new and I have no idea how long it will hold up for before it starts to break down. On a hardwood floor it slides around a bit so I frequently have to realign/reposition it. No complaints though, it's protecting my floor! :-)
